The Colina Real complex (The Royal Hill) is located on the outskirts of the very popular seaside resort of Guardamar del Segura in a quiet, semi rural setting but within a 15-minute walk to the Town.

The community facilities include a secure gated entrance, heated swimming pool with changing rooms, toilets, showers, and features for the disabled. Within this exclusive complex we are delighted to offer a top floor, penthouse apartment.
The luxury penthouse has spectacular views overlooking the swimming pool and river Segura basin, orange, lemon, and olive groves, and the mountains of Alicante and down to the Mediterranean Sea.
This air-conditioned apartment comes fully equipped with all the mod cons that you need: Sat/ TV, Fiber Internet, Coffee machine,
BBQ /Private Chill out on the main terrace.
There is also a roof solarium that is ideal for sunbathing.
The apartment has recently been modernised to a very high standard with a new kitchen, new floor tiles, a new bathroom and much more.
We now provide a lovely welcome basket. The apartment is always stocked with tea, coffee, and milk. No matter what time you arrive, you can have a glass of wine or a hot drink.
There is also underground parking with a lift taking you right to the Penthouse front door.
If you would like the apartment cleaned and a change of bedding during your stay, please let us know when booking, and this can be arranged at a small fee.

This place is spotless. You have everything you may need in the kitchen. Outside area is great for barbecuing or a night cap. Beds are really comfortable. Location is perfect if you want to enjoy the beach or some shopping. Near to restaurants and bars. We really like it and we recommend the place with no doubt

Just What We Needed!

A lovely property within a well kept community. The apartment was fabulous and ticked all of our boxes. The pool was lovely and many beaches on the doorstep - we would recommend a car though, especially in the midst of a heatwave. Situated in a very traditional part of Spain but all amenities on your doorstep meant everything was easy peasey. We hope to return soon!

Short Stay

The apartment was well decorated but we had a number of issues as follows - lack of instructions re use of air con & lighting, dishes had been left in the dishwasher, sink plugs not efficient, one of the bathroom doors did not close properly, chipped mugs in kitchen, some dirty plates in cupboards. We suspect most of these are down to the cleaner not doing their job properly but a little more detail about use of the property would have been very helpful. As we have said the apartment is well furnished with some beautiful views but the stay was spoilt by these shortcomings.

The Apartment was large with fantastic views and within walkable distance to Guardamar (for those reasonably fit as there are some hills). It looks to have been cleverly extended from a much smaller apartment as what looked like external shutters are inside the property. We have stayed in 5 Apartments across Europe this year alone none of which stated they were "Luxury" yet all where significantly better (and much cheaper )than this property which was in need of a thorough cleaning(we had to wear socks to walk around due to dirty floors). The Crockery and utensils were not clean and the property need a number of maintenace issues sorting ( which the owner challenged us on when we advised them after they contacted us for our first impressions of the property.) This apartment could be really nice if maintained properly which it wasnt so consequently we were disapointed having expected "Luxury" as per the renters add.

Wir haben insgesamt 12 Tage mit unserem einjährigen Sohn in dieser Unterkunft verbracht. Folgende Punkte sind uns positiv und negativ aufgefallen: + Die Wohnung ist insgesamt schön und großzügig. Sie ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat einen schönen Blick nach draußen. + Die eigene Terrasse ist schön und lädt zum Grillen ein. + Mit dem Auto sine schöne Strände innerhalb von 10 Minuten erreichbar. + Der Pool ist angenehm warm - Die Anlage insgesamt wirkte auf uns leider nicht einladend. Überall hängen Schilder mit Regeln. Gerade als Familie mit kleinem Kind war das einfach unpassend. Im Poolbereich darf man nicht rennen, Ball spielen, essen und soll keine Sonnencreme verwenden(????). Als unser einjähriger Sohn 2 Cracker am Pool gegessen hat, kam direkt eine Frau zu uns und hat uns auf die Regel hingewiesen, dass am Pool nicht gegessen werden darf. Diese Frau war zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht mal am Pool und hat das scheinbar aus dem Fenster beobachtet. Insgesamt war das für uns alles nicht familienfreundlich, offen und locker. Es liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass in der Anlage viele Briten im Ruhestand leben und eher genervt von den Touristen sind. - Die vorhandene Klimaanlage funktioniert zwar, aber wir fanden sie unpraktisch. Man kann sie nur für die gesamte Wohnung an- und abstellen und man kann die Temperatur nicht pro Zimmer individuell einstellen. In einem der Schlafzimmer war es so kalt, dass wir uns dort nicht aufhalten konnten. Obwohl die eingestellte Tempera

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir hatten einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub in dem Penthouse. Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter waren gut zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Ein weiteres Plus war der Tiefgaragenstellplatz. Bei der Lage sollte man sich bewusst sein, das man entweder ein Auto braucht oder einen kleinen Marsch vor sich hat. Supera de sobra nuestras expectativas. Distribución y espacios de las habitaciones, cocina bien equipada, la terraza impresionante, salón con buena televisión y cómodos sofás,el comedor con vistas espectaculares y los baños limpios y con todos los detalles. Un ático muy recomendable por su comodidad, confort, vistas y sobre todo tranquilidad. Eine tolle Urlaubswoche in Guardemar

Wir haben eine Woche in dem tollen Beach House Apartment verbracht. Man hat eine super rund Umsicht die Wohnung ist gemütlich und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Sie hat allen Komfort, den man sich wünschen kann. Die Kommunikation war perfekt. Kleinere Probleme wurden umgehend gelöst. Kelly und Mark waren immer freundlich und kooperativ. pragtfuld penthouse

Vi havde et pragtfuldt ophold i Kellies penthouse-lejlighed, der rummer alt, hvad man har brug for. Fantastisk tagterrasse med en kæmpe stor grill, som vi benyttede en del gange. Der er hyggelige lyskæder på tagterrassen, som tænder når mørket falder på. Men lidt mere lys på tagterrassen kunne dog være en fordel, når man sidder ude og spiser sent :-) Fint pool-område, som ikke var overrendt, da vi var der. Perfekt med underjordisk parkering og elevator nærmest direkte fra lejligheden og til parkeringsbåsen. Flinke naboer. Fint område, hvor der ikke er langt til restauranter og indkøbsmuligheder.

Un séjour mémorable

Kellie et Mark sont des hôtes extraordinaires, soucieux de notre bien-être et rapide à répondre à nos demandes. L'appartement est conforme à l'annonce, spacieux, lumineux et bien équipé pour un long séjour. Chaque fenêtre permet d'admirer de magnifiques paysages. Très bon système d'autobus, nous avons visité la côte de Benidorm à Carthagene. Guardamar est une ville fantastique avec ses parcs, sa plage, ses promenades. C'est sans aucune hésitation que je recommande cet endroit.

We had a wonderful stay in Kellie's apartment which is beautiful. We had a slight problem with BBQ and once I had text Kellie it was replaced immediately with a new one, couldn't ask for a better service. I could thoroughly recommend this Apartment and I would definitely stay there again.

A penthouse stay

We stayed at this beautiful penthouse apartment for a week in August and there’s is no doubt we will be back. It was spacious, bright & airy. We had a lovely welcome basket & cava when we arrived which was a lovely touch. The fact there were lovely towels to use for the pool & for showering was fantastic. The beds were really comfortable & there was so much storage space for clothes etc. The roof terrace was extra special it was private and a sun trap. We spent many an evening just relaxing before going out for food. All in all we loved this place, we struggle to find any faults with it, yes there are a few minor things we could mention however I’m not going to because our stay was fantastic. Sehr schöne Wohnung

Die Wohnung liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes und ist sehr ruhig. Wir hatten ein Mietauto, so dass wir die Dinge für den täglichen Bedarf leicht beschaffen konnten, zu Fuß in die Stadt /zum Strand dauert es schon 20-25 Minuten. Generell ist die Wohnung sehr gemütlich und auch sehr gut ausgerüstet.

Stylish and private with great views, loved the decor and it’s not often you get such a great bed.

Staying in the area for bird watching at El Fondo reserve. The local Salt pans also great for birds with an interesting Museum about Salt extraction. Lovely beach and cafe/restaurant at La Marinas near by. We’d happily return, really appreciated the well fitted out kitchen and having dinner in the dining room was great at night, super views.

This wonderful apartment is amazing we loved every minute we where here. Views from every window took our breath away. The apartment was large with lots of light very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved this place so much I don't have the words to do it justice.all I can say is go and experience it yourselves I guarantee you will not be disappointed. We would recommend a car as it is a little out of town but on a beautiful clean urbanisation. We did manage without one as we enjoyed the walk into town, and used buses to visit Santa Pola and la Mata. But if you want to explore the area then it would be easier with a car. Thanks to Kellie and Mark for hiring out your fabulous home.
