Beautiful Menton stay

Beautiful property full of character and charm . The gardens and view are breathtaking abs the photos online do not do justice to this lovely villa . Nathalie and Eric were super responsive and helpful - excellent all round . Cannot recommend more highly we had a wonderful stay . Tip maybe hire a car as it seemed impossibly difficult to get taxis and uber non existent

Fabulous old family owned house overlooking the bay

Everything was wonderful. The house, the garden, the view from the balcony and the care from the housekeeper. 20-30 minutes to old town and beach on foot; 15 minutes to nearest supermarket and restaurants. The walk up from the sea is quite steep - perhaps not one for the over 80s. Low banister round stairwell might cause anxiety with younger children. Very lucky to have stayed in this beautiful and memorable house.

Beautiful Mediterranean Villa - Transporting

Our family loved our stay at Villa La Favorite. It isn't very often that you can stay in a historical home with beautiful furniture and decorations. The gardens and view were magnificent and we will always remember our stay here and we look forward to coming back. For this home, it has great air conditioning which is surprising given the home's age. You also need a car to be able to visit the center of Menton. This home is a little outside of Menton and up on a hill which gives it an amazing View of the city and in my opinion it is nice to stay in such a quiet area.

A dream stay for all!

Villa La Favorite exceeded all expectations! The pictures do not do it justice: the rooms are even more beautiful and spacious. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated and provided excellent storage. There are plenty of bathrooms. Our party had 7 adults and 1 child: everyone loved it. The garden is like a private park. The views of the city and sea are stunning. We will forever cherish our time at the villa, and the time spent together there. We’d love to return someday - A+++! Communications with Francois and Natalia were very good. Thank you both!

Stunning villa in a magical place

We visited as a group of 4 couples for my 50th birthday celebration and absolutely loved our stay at Villa La Favorite. The location, gardens, pool, and views were nothing short of spectacular. The house was grand but very comfortable. The pool was a refreshing place to gather during the afternoon heat. The terrace was the perfect place to gather for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evenings. The views are breathtaking over the marina, Mediterranean, and old city of Menton. The A/C was strong and welcome during the summer heatwave while we were there. Everyone enjoyed the stay immensely and we will definitely be back. 5 stars across the board. Merci beaucoup!!

Formidable -- A magical retreat

A magnificent home with attention to every detail. Spectacular piazza overlooking the terraced gardens with lemons and clementine trees and, of course, views of town and the sea. Menton is lovely but if you never even leave this patio you will feel transported. We walked to town, grilled oysters on the charcoal grill, explored the secret stairways and sculpted grottos, and ate a lot of fresh squeezed orange juice and lemonade from the little orchard. State-of-the-art kitchen and bathrooms, tons of hot water and strong wifi, excellent location. There are books and magazines and lovely works of art. The historic details and design elements of Villa La Favorite are fascinating, from the marble stairway to the wrought iron gates. The winter weather in Menton is sublime, and we spent every evening watching the sun set. Our family of 6 was very comfortable here, and we look forward to returning very soon. Thank you to Eric for excellent accommodations and service.

Magnifique vieille villa

Nous avons passé 2 merveilleuses semaines d'été dans la maison. La maison est spacieuse, avec une atmosphÚre incroyable (voir photos) et bien équipée pour un grand groupe de personnes ou une famille. Le jardin assure beaucoup de calme. L'emplacement prÚs de la gare permet d'accéder à d'autres villes de la CÎte d'Azur, si vous voulez éviter de prendre la voiture. La vieille ville et les principales plages de Menton sont à 20-25 min à pied. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et avons l'intention d'y retourner, si seulement possible.

Es ist einfach ein Traum gewesen dort zu wohnen, alles war fantastisch

Wir waren 9 Personen und hatten alle die gleiche Meinung , besser geht es nicht.Es wurde uns nichts versprochen,was vom Vermieter,bzw. von FeWo Direkt nicht eingehalten wurde.Wir haben jede Minute genossen und uns sehr,sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.Das Objekt ist ein Musterbeispiel fĂŒr französische Kultur und Lebensauffassung.Die Innen und Ausseneinrichtungen sind perfekt.Wir fĂŒhlten uns wie FĂŒrsten, denn es war einfach alles vorhanden. Eine Anmerkung noch: Die Concierce Natalie spricht weder englich noch ein bisschen deutsch.Wir hatten einen Notfall und mussten uns selbst behelfen.Das war nicht so einfach.Uns mit dem " elektronischen Dolmetscher " zu verstĂ€ndigen,hĂ€tte viel zu lange gedauert.Die Aussicht vom Objekt ist einfach hinreißend und wir konnten uns garnicht sattsehen.Der Besitzer beweist einen ausgezeichneten Geschmack und Erfahrung bei der Einrichtung der Villa.Da wir wunderschönes Wetter hatten,spielte sich unser gesamtes Urlaubsleben auf den Terrassen ab.Der Eisschrank hat natĂŒrlich unserer gesamte Freundesgruppe besonders gefallen.Wir werden wieder kommen und ein bisschen lĂ€nger bleiben.Es hat sich in jedem Fall gelohnt, dieses herrlichen Fleckchen Erde kennengelernt zu haben.Der Weg in die schöne Altstadt wurde mit jedem Mal leichter,man hat sich schnell an die Stufen und den Aufstieg vom Strand zur Villa gewöhnt.Das Auto blieb fast die gesamte Zeit stehen,da man die umliegenden Ausflugsorte,wie Nizza, Ventemigla, Monacco, Grasse sehr gut und schnell mit der Bahn erreichen kann.Auch der Busverkehr ist gut ausgebaut.

Magic setting

We were 9 friends who stayed for a week and loved the house, garden and position. The views over Menton are fantastic and we ate every meal on the terrace. The swimming pool was also great. The house is very well equipped and everyone we interacted with was helpful and efficient. Thank you!

Beautiful old house, beautiful views

Beautiful old house which is well kitted out with modern amenities. Loved the rustic charm of this property, the excellent views of Menton, the terrace, the pool area, very comfortable beds and decent pillows. Upon our arrival we found a welcome basket with prosecco, jam, milk, coffee, breakfast biscuits, snacks for cocktails - basically everything you need for cocktails and that first morning without having to figure out where the shops are straight away. The manager and guardienne were both very helpful and accomodating. The house overall is old and in need of some repairs, the wifi is painfully slow. Overall we loved our stay there nevertheless and happy to go back again.
