Great stay in Sete

The 88 steps up the the apartment was challenging with shopping, and the garage was a tight squeeze for our car. BUT - we loved looking over the canal and port from the balcony, the fact we had access to a garage was a real bonus, the apartment was spotless and well equipped, the furnishings comfortable, and although no air con, a fan was absolutely sufficient. The apartment is in a lovely area, just minutes from shops, restaurants and bars, but still quite quiet in the evening. I would thoroughly recommend, and hope to revisit one day.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Annie était vraiment exceptionnelle, une personne agréable, serviable et disponible. La vue est splendide wahou en arrivant dans l'appartement qui est très lumineux. On ne sait pas ennuyées, le centre ville est a côté et il y a beaucoup de chose a découvrir. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. M

Das Appartment ist super gelegen. Allerdings muss man sich bewusst sein, dass der tolle Ausblick durch 88 Stufen erklommen werden muss. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, nur das WC ist unangemessen klein < 1 qm. Diese "Unannehmlichkeit" schmälert den tollen Gesamteindruck allerdings nur unerheblich.

Très agréable séjour

Appartement spacieux et confortable. La grande terrasse est un vrai plus avec une vue imprenable sur le canal, les ponts mobiles et le petit air qui vient de la mer très appréciable. Les 4 étages à monter sont vite oubliés 🙂. Le garage tout proche est également très pratique. Nous reviendrons sans doute.

Sète une ville à découvrir Nous avons passé une belle semaine entre la vieille ville et l'étang de Thau : découverte à pied ou à vélo. Le logement proposé est top et correspond à la description qui en est faite (yc pour les 4 étages). Une adresse à conserver

A refaire!

Grand appartement bien équipé, avec une très grande terrasse sans aucun vis-vis, et très bien situé en centre-ville ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement des fêtes de la Saint Louis et de visiter la ville. Le garage est un atout incontestable même s‘il est de petite taille. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Sète dans ce très bel appartement.

Séjour agréable, bel appartement très bien situé près du centre ville. Vue magnifique sur le port, la terrasse est un plus fort appréciable. Seul bémol : 4 étages sans ascenseur, l'Alpe d'Huez chaque jours ! Par ailleurs le garage est appréciable mais vraiment très petit, difficile d'y garer un véhicule d'un certain gabarit.

Magnifique !

Super Aussicht

Der Check in gestaltet sich ohne Französischkenntnisse sehr schwierig. Die Garage ist sehr eng. Das Treppenhaus ist dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Der Abfluss im Bad tropfte, was nicht bekannt war, dass Bettwäsche und Handtücher nur gegen eine hohe Gebühr gestellt werden können. Die Reinigung kostet extra. Das kleine Schlafzimmer war ohne Fenster Die Ausstattung der Küche war gut. Der Balkon ist riesig und mit einer fantastischen Aussicht auf Hafen und Meer. Es ist nicht sonderlich laut.

Lovely terasse in a very good location

After climbing the four stairs you will find a light and spacious apartment and a fantastic view. Close to restaurants, bakery, grocery, and a few minuters walk to the ”city center”. On the downside: the kitchen was not properly cleaned. The bathroom and WC needs updating (there is a leak from the pipes under the sink). Linen and towels were not included and we had to pay extra for that.

Bel appartement avec terrasse sur le port

Séjour très agréable à Sète dans un appartement bien placé près du centre ville. La terrasse et sa vue sur le port sont un atout indéniable. Cependant, l'entrée dégradée et les quatre étages sans ascenseur, particulièrement pénibles, constituent une réserve pour cet appartement du coup inaccessible pour une personne âgée ou de jeunes enfants. L'accès à la mezzanine non sécurisé aussi. La cuisine est bien équipée cependant la bouteille de gaz de la plancha à disposition était vide.... Le ménage des résidants précédents était "médiocre". Il vaudrait mieux inclure le ménage dans le prix de la location. La garage privatif est appréciable même si relativement étroit. La dame qui accueille est très sympathique et aidante.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Sète. L'appartement, bien équipé, est très bien situé et l'accès au centre ville facile. La vue de la grande terrasse est très belle!

Tolle Aussicht!

Das Treppenhaus ist zwar renovierungsbedürftig - dann gelangt man aber in das lichtdurchflutete, sehr geräumige Apartment. Alles war sauber. Die Einrichtung ist modern, zweckmäßig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Es gibt viele Sitzgelegenheiten. Von der wirklich großen Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Kanal vor dem Haus incl. Drehbrücke und Klappbrücke sowie hinüber zum Hafen mit Fähren, Kreuzfahrtschiffen und Transportschiffen. Zum oberen Schlafzimmer führt eine steile Treppe, teilweise ohne Geländer. In einigen Oktobernächten war es dort oben noch recht warm. Vor Ort waren noch Bettwäsche und Handtücher zu bezahlen. Dazu kommt noch die Endreinigungsgebühr, wenn man nicht selber putzen möchte. Wir erhielten gleich zwei Schlüsselsets. Die Garage ist direkt am Haus, dort steht auch ein Fahrrad zur Verfügung.. Sète ist ein ansehnlicher Ort und man kann sich gut orientieren. Die Kanalrundfahrt verschaffte uns einen guten Überblick über die Stadt. Im Oktober hatten einige Restaurants nur mittags geöffnet.

Once you enter this sunny apartment, you will experience being at home in
the very heart of Sête city. Newly renovated and refurbished (january 2014),
our home is situated on the 4th and last floor of a typical  local building.
From the large terrace overlooking the quay of the vintage sail boats, you
will be the privileged spectator of the life on the canal  and the marine
activities.

You will be close to the train station and within minutes of shoppings
delights, cosy restaurants, museums and places of interest.

And don't forget the beautiful neaby beaches !
