Nestled on the third floor (two and a half flights of stairs, no elevator) of a quaint building on Via Augusto Jandolo, the 50-square-meter space is characterised by a thoughtful decor. It features one bedroom and a living room with a double sofa-bed and is bright and spacious.

The bedroom is inviting and generously sized, with a king-size bed and a large closet. I stayed in this property in June. It was a wonderful apartment. It was very clean, the AC worked great, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were nice, and it had the cutest kitchen! It is located in a great neighborhood in Rome and we walked everywhere. I can't say enough good things about this apartment! I would be happy to stay there again.

The location is amazing! We loved the Trastevere area. The apartment served our needs well for our 3 day stay. Spacious, good storage. We loved the big open windows. We made good use of the washing machine. Check in was easy. When wi-fi didn’t work Alice worked to fix it. The only disappoint was the listing showed a bathtub and described the place as having a bathtub, but there is only a shower - and the shower has obviously been there a long time as mold has grown all around the doors. We were looking forward to a good soak after 3 weeks of travel. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The place is quaint and feels authentic. We would stay again and recommend it to others!

Tratevere Treasure

Minutes from three bridges into the heart of Rome. Seconds from exceptional restaurants. Spacious and bright apartment was all we could ask for! A few things could use freshening up in the kitchen and bathroom, but otherwise a wonderful stay!

We liked the size of this apt since it was my wife and I staying in the bedroom and my friend from London slept on the sofa bed. The living room closed like a bedroom, so the division of space worked well. The kitchen was bigger than expected and well equipped. The AC takes a minute, but did a decent job if you leave it on awhile. It’s a bit from the heart of Trastevere, but right next to the Tiber for a nice walk. I prefer to be a little closer to the action- however there were some restaurants and bars below so you can enjoy the nightlife. I will say it got very loud in the bedroom, so we were happy we brought our sound machine. For me- I have back problems and arthritis, so the stairs were too much and we could all feel the springs in the bed. The owners are currently aware and I sincerely hope they order a memory foam bed. They said they would consider for the next guest.

Beautiful Apartment and Great Location

Eva’s apartment is more beautiful and spacious than the photos show. A wonderful place to relax md unwind after a day of sightseeing. Believe me, the 60 steps from the front door to the apartment is worth it! My husband and I are 70 and we managed just fine. There are restaurants and a large grocery store within a 10 minute walk of the apartment, and we walked to all the sights and explored Rome every day. Eva was very communicative before we arrived, and was there to greet us. She also provided complimentary cappuccino and cornettos at the coffee shop downstairs, which we happily took advantage of a few times during the week we were there. We would gladly stay here again if we return to Rome.

Roomy apartment in Trastavere

We enjoyed the apartment. Plenty of room for 2 adults with a teenager and pre-treen (who shared a large pull-out bed). Lively nightlife all around with numerous dining options. A good-sized grocery store was also close by. Our only disappointment was not being able to use the "panoramic terrace" our first night but it did become available later. It did not detract from an otherwise wonderful stay.

Near the Tiber

Good location in Trastevere. Well maintained with comfortable atmosphere. Good shower and bed. Well equipped kitchen. Good communication with Eva, she even called us a transfer to FCO for an early morning flight. Several floors up, around 65 steps. You can see Aventine Hill from the windows. You can also go up to the roof for a better view and a glass of wine. Very secure.

Excellent Beds with little touches!

We were only in Rome for 4 days and this apartment fit our needs beautifully. This is a quiet neighborhood and the beds were the most comfortable I've had in Eurpoe thus far, which made for a great night sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The owner had a bottle of wine, box of pasta, sauce, olive oil, salt, pepper, chocolates, toast, coffee and bathroom necessities. The little extras really made our stay easy. The unit has roomy 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and kitchen but it fit our family of four perfectly and did not feel tight. I highly recommend this unit and we will stay there again during our 3 year stay in Hungary. Thank you.

The Perfect Rome Experience

This flat is located on the cutest cobblestone street in the area of Trestavere that is away from the tourists but has 3 of the best restaurants in the whole of Rome. The locals frequent this neighborhood and there is even a small market and bar just below it. It is right next to one of the most beautiful churches, St. Cecelia. The flat itself is amazing...2 large bedrooms and a small adorable kitchen. You will wake up to the most gorgeous sites of Rome out your window and Church bells. The owner Alice and her mom, Eva, helped us so much with the how to of getting around Rome. The only negative is that it is up 3 flights of stairs but you will learn that Rome is full of these situations....be ready to climb and walk everywhere. I spent an entire month here and I was so glad I chose this flat. It was perfect!!

Not enough information

Too many stairs to reach apt door. Not listed in property description. Meeting in person with owner was also necessary to access apt. Application does not notify you of messages and it’s constantly not loading booking information. Making the whole experience difficult and inconvenient

Perfect Neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, very spacious, and located in a charming, quiet neighborhood. There’s a convenient café right downstairs where we enjoyed free coffee and croissants each morning, thanks to the host’s thoughtful vouchers. The area is walkable to restaurants, nightlife, and close to taxi and bus stops. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful—she even let us drop off our bags early and check in ahead of schedule. Host can arrange transportation to and from the airport if needed! Highly recommend!

Great location in Rome

This was a great place to stay for location and access to great food and walking to all the sites in Rome. Eva helped us organise transport to and from the airport and was very helpful. The appartement was a great size for 2 adults. The small negatives are that the mattress is very old with spring and really needs to be changed. The constant noise from the street below with restaurants patios open late meant that we required ear plugs to sleep. Overall we would stay there again.

Awesome...mostly

Everything was great EXCEPT the noise from the neighbor across the hall, and from the alleyway below. It's not something the host can control, but something to be aware of of your sensitive to noise while trying to sleep.

Not suitable for a family of 4 with two teens (girl and boy teens)

It is advertised for 4 people but then when we said we are a family of four (two teens) the host charged us an extra 180euros because we were 4 people!!?? WE Did not understand the extra charge. Not at all suitable for 4 people specially if you have a boy and a girl teen. There is some kind of black mold around the kitchen sink and around the shower area. Location of the apartment is very good near a lot of restaurants and places to visit. If you like the Sunday market is only 10 minutes walking distance.

Nice apartment - close to everything!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay. This apartment is centrally located. It’s an easy walk to all the sights or the bus stop is just down the street. The small kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook meals. The beds were comfortable. The main bedroom has a queen-sized mattress and the pull-out sofa was comfortable for my 20 year-old son. There are many delightful dining choices in the neighborhood - we particularly enjoyed the coffee and pastries at the “404” just below the apartment. Be warned - this apartment is on a very narrow street in an active city neighborhood. Watch for cars when you step out the front door and it can be a bit noisy at night. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Wonderful neighborhood; comfortable home

The apartment was exactly as advertised: spacious, clean, convenient and charming location. The breakfast every morning at the nearby cafe being included in the rate really added to the charm. The apartment is comfortable, but you can hear noisy tourists on the street. It would be great if there was new hot water pot and coffee maker and if the latches that hold the shutters open were fixed so that they would not bang in the wind.

Perfect apartment in perfect location!

Eva was very prompt, friendly and helpful in her communication through the booking and during the stay. The apartment was perfect, lots of space with a beautiful view of the Aventine Hill and Basilica across the river. There was a slight smell in the bathroom but Eva immediately had it taken care of and fixed. The was a bit of noise at night but that is unavoidable downtown and worth it. Nothing some ear plugs can't solve. Every amenity was provided that we needed (utensils, kitchen appliances, laundry, etc). She also included 2 complimentary coffees and croissants each day from the cafe downstairs. Being able to walk out the door and have multiple cafes, restaurants, shops, etc right there is wonderful. And only 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Rome!
