Clean, cute and conveniently located. Being so close to route 1 I thought it might be loud but it was so quiet and perfect. We loved the firepit!

What a cute little place to stay! Super clean, nice kitchen, wonderful hosts. Quiet area even though you're close to Rte 1. Everything you need is within walking distance. Can't wait to go back next year!

What a relaxing weekend - Perfect Spot

This place was perfect! Set back at the edge of the woods, with a grill and fire pit. What more could you ask for. Out first night we cooked steaks on the grill and enjoyed coffee drinks near the warmth of the fire pit! Very well kept - Very Clean - not one complaint.

Gulls Nest

The Gulls Nest was exactly as described. One suggestion there should be an air conditioner in the bedroom or a larger one in the main living area. Also some curtains on the windows so the air conditioning is not fighting the sun so much. The pool was great and the people friendly.

Beautiful and peaceful!

We were very happy with our stay at this adorable cottage! Very clean and brand new as well as comfortable. Easy access to all of the attractions. The campgrounds were peaceful. We did come very early in the season but I can't imagine it getting rowdy. We blew a fuse one day by using the microwave and a few other things at the same time but the grounds maintenance helped us and Cheryl was right over to help us as well. We loved having a fire outside and enjoying the cool nights! Can't wait to come back!
Response from VrboOwner on 4 Apr 2020
Thank you very much for staying with us and for taking the time to write us a wonderful review. The fuse issue has been fixed. :). We hope you come and stay with us again. Sincerely, Gregg and Cheryl Martinez

2nd Time - just as perfect as the first!

I love this super cute property. Recently and beautifully updated, all incidentals included - super thoughtful hosts! Permanent residents are friendly. The location is perfect, Wells Beach is a 3 min drive, Ogunquit - 10 mins, York Beach - 15 Mins, Nubble Light House/Cape Neddick - 15 mins, Perkins Cove - 15 Mins, Kittery - 25 Mins, Old Orchard Beach/Saco - 25 Mins, Portland - 35 Mins. We popped into New Hampshire twice - only 25-30 mins away. There is plenty to do; all in close proximity to this property and I love bringing my children here to experience the Maine I've grown up with. We'll be back!

Rental was extremely clean. Plenty of room for the two of us. Nice amenities such as grill and fire pit. Very central location. Host was very prompt in responding. Easy keypad entrance. Bedroom needed blackout shades- very bright. There are men’s and women’s restrooms for the campground below the unit- lack of privacy. Unit could use some colorful decor- lots of white.

Nice short stay

I used this property as a home base while attending a class up in the area. It was just me so there was plenty of space. The space was clean and well kept. It is above the camp ground bathrooms and showers which I didn’t realize. However, the whole campground is all more permanent sites that have their own facilities. In the 3 nights I was there, no one used the common ones below me. It served as a nice quiet retreat in my office time. Wells Beach is about a little if a mile from this property and is easily accessible from here. Thank you for a good stay!

Peace and quiet

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Communication w/ the owners was easier and they were responsive. The property was in a gated community, clean and safe. They covered all the necessities and more, multiple streaming sites on the tv. Close to local beaches, shops, and restaurants yet quiet. We went hiking as there are many nearby trails, visited a few shops, ate out, and enjoyed our quiet time. Thank you for sharing your place with us!!
