We had a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend in your amazing home. There were 9 of us, 5 adults and 4 children aged 10 - 16. The only time we left there was to walk to The Swan for Sunday lunch, that tells you how much we enjoyed being there. The outside space was great and the boys enjoyed being able to play football etc. We were so lucky with the weather, it was stunning. Thank you so much for letting us stay there. Would certainly recommend.

Lovely outdoor space
Lovely house with plenty of space for all of the families, especially the outdoors (great safe area for the children). Roomy inside, warm and comfortable. The only thing was,as the house appeared to be lived in, there was nowhere to store the food that we had for 10 people apparent from the fridge. Kitchen equipment sometimes difficult to find and we had to to breakfast in relays or move chairs around. Upstairs the rooms were brilliant for the adults. The children's rooms were full of toys and one of the duvets a cot duvet on a single bed , which caused a few problems. All in all we had a great holiday. A good base for the area and the house did provide all we needed.

Perfectly situated and great value for money
The location of this family home is perfect, for all tourist areas as only approx 4 miles from Cheddar and can easily get to Bath, Weston super mare, Quantock Hills, Wells, Glastonbury Tor etc.
Wedmore, is only a 5 min car ride and has some lovely pubs/restaurants (the New Inn and Swan pub) and the local Indian restaurant next to The George pub, does fantastic food but they are unlicensed so take a bottle or 2 with you.
The house is set in tranquil surrounds, not much close by, although we did buy our sausages from the local farmer down the lane. (Which were very tasty)
Beautiful house set in a huge garden and with lots of room inside. We hadn’t realised that this is a lived in home, where they move out when rented out, so we were surprised when found cupboards full of your food, would have been useful to have one cupboard we could use just for our food supplies but there is plenty of work top that we used instead. The wardrobes on the first floor didn’t have any clothes space in the children’s room, although plenty of clothes space on top floor.
There is a dishwasher which every kitchen needs and they even let you use their dishwasher tablets, there is a big American fridge / freezer with piped water which makes ice and provides cold water, which on warm days is extremely welcome.
It has a large kitchen / lounge area and then a large lounge / dining room, with a lovely real open fire which we only used once as too warm the rest of the week. The dining room table turns into a Billiard table but we never used this as did the jigsaw we had taken with us on it.
All bedrooms are a large size and having 3 rooms ensuite, and a separate family bathroom that was shared by the 2 children’s room, was definitely an advantage not any homes in the area had for the same price.
Lovely out door space with a bbq which we used twice and a wooden garden swing we spent time relaxing on. If you took children they would love the outside space with the pirate ship and trampoline.
Overall we have had a fabulous week and thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us

Beautiful house set deep in Somerset countryside
Beautiful house set deep in the Somerset countryside. We were welcomed by Emily the owner and her children to their characterful country house near the village of Wedmore.
There is everything you could possibly need for a couple of days or a week break, gardens were also very lovely for small or big children alike with pirate ship, treehouse and lovely views of the Mendip Hills.
Although the property is set far enough away from every day hustle and bustle there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and small independent shops nearby to cater for all.
We'd definetely recommend a stay at this beautiful house.
