Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just three blocks from the beach, "Dolphin Dive-In" an updated and remodeled end-unit townhome is perfect for your next vacation getaway! This tastefully furnished home features 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and an enclosed outdoor shower on the back deck. Check out the community pool and tennis courts right next door. Enjoy the outdoor grill, wifi, games, puzzles, and cable television. The local South Coastal library is only 1 and a half blocks away, a great place for internet access, books, videos, and many summertime programs. Hop on the Bethany Beach trolley, just steps from the front door to head toward the beach, great restaurants, the boardwalk, and shopping. Find fun events at the nearby at the Freeman Stage, Dickens Parlour Theatre, many mini golf attractions, and much more!

Linens will be at the property prior to check in. Linens include sheets for all beds, and bath towels.

Clean, well kept, didn't use beach gear (chairs, bikes, beach toys) but they were available.Some microwave dishes would be nice.

The house was perfect for our family. Having the pool right next-door was great for the little ones. We brought an umbrella stroller for the three-year-old, and were very glad we did. Although the 10 minute walk to the beach is pleasant, and the three-year-old could and did make that walk, it was a lot easier, taking him in the stroller. We also brought our own beach umbrellas and were glad that we did. Parking pass for the side streets was very helpful.

Great location

House was great comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen. On the trolley route, short walk to the beach and pool. Definitely need a new beach cart and the bikes tIRES are NOT SAFE

Spacious home, well-stocked kitchen, quiet location

3 full bathrooms were great, well stocked kitchen, nice to have the BBQ grill, location is easy 10 min walk to beach and downtown, lovely skylights in kitchen and upper floor. Our group really enjoyed the house and our time at the beach. Bethany Proper area is a gem, this was our first tiime but we will be back!

Beach Week

We enjoyed being very close to the tennis courts and pool. The kids and adults took advantage of both. One of the things that the kids really enjoyed was taking the trolley. The stop was very near so easy to take.

Garage is a plus.

The condo is well outfitted and a short walk to Bethany Beach and shops. A very nice open floor plan with plenty of room to move about. The garage is nice if you have a lot of beach items to take back and forth. We all had our Jeeps, so the garage was perfect for storing the doors and panels while we drove around opened up. The outdoor space is not huge but when you're hanging out at the beach there really isn't a need.

Nice place!

We had a great time, the place was clean and the house set up was good. There was a bit of rot on the back porch that should be looked at. The tennis courts are directly behind the unit, so we heard a lot of conversation and ball sounds, however this didn't bother any of us. Master bedroom is superb! The twin beds were minimally comfortable, but not unacceptable. Office staff was friendly and helpful.

Wasn’t happy with the ants in the kitchen. We’ve stayed at Sea Pines Village in the past and never had ants. Mattresses were not the best. We did like the Bethany Proper area.

Wouldn’t stay here again

Pros: Bethany Proper is a nice community, and this unit is close the pool which was nice. Cons: All of the 6 twin beds are horrible! 2 of them upstairs are exceptionally bad. We actually bought an air mattress after the first night because the bed was unbearable. The kitchen had ants when we got there and were there all week. We purchased ant traps to try to help. Would love to be reimbursed for the cost of the air mattress and ant traps we purchased! Wifi was spotty. The pool doesn’t allow children under 3 in the big pool (only the small baby pool). We have been coming to Bethany for 20 years and this has never been a rule at any of the places we have stayed in the past. This was also not advertised on the listing, so we were not aware of this rule until we got there. All in all, I would not stay here again. Also disappointing to see these are similar complaints from past reviews that have not been addressed. (I assumed the mattress situation was resolved after reviews from 3 years ago).

Ants are as common in the area but we would have definitely come to take care of them for you. We also do not control the rules each community enacts for their amenities and we were not aware of this rule as well nor have any other guests in the properties we manage in this community shared this information either. Mini moon beach house fun

Very clean, just needs some upgraded electronics, counters and beds. A full king instead of 2 twins pushed together is so uncomfortable for couples. Thank you!

Our time in Bethany Beach

Overall we were very impressed with the house in Bethany Beach- it was well laid out with a wonderful kitchen space. Two major downsides: 1- the beds were horrible- all but 1 twin bed was just plain awful. Everyone was unhappy with their bed! 2- the house deficit was home to a cat, or allowed someone to have a cat as 7/10 of us had terrible allergies as the dander gets in blankets, carpet, furniture. This was very disappointing as we chose a no pet rental for a reason.

Nice location in a quiet neighborhood

The home was really nicely decorated and spacious. Steps away from downtown Bethany so very convenient to restaurants and attractions. Only downside was that the bathrooms weren’t super clean. The housekeepers cut a few corners. I also wish they had basic liquid hand soup in the bathrooms. Every other place we stayed out had that. Otherwise, perfect! We enjoyed everything.

Great stay at Bethany Beach

We really enjoyed this stay although it was too short! :( But we loved working with Jaymie and Mario at 1st Choice and they made everything super-easy. The property was nicer than we expected so we were super-happy about that. Only downside was the highway we had to cross to get to the beach but because we had the parking pass, we just drove over and parked for free. All in all, it was lovely and we can't wait to go back!

Bethany 2020

The property has some nice upgrades including updated bathrooms. The downstairs living space is small and does not get much natural light. The kitchen is well equipped. The pool is right behind the townhouse which is very convenient. There is virtually no outdoor space for sitting, only a small table. The master bed is two twins pushed together. The beach is about 8 minutes away walking and you do have to cross the busy highway to get there.

Excellent location

Our initial impression of the property was that it was comfortable, spacious but a little tired. The paintwork on the staircase was scuffed and worn. Two of the bedrooms were quite small but adequate. The BBQ was filthy, full of old food - it took us half an hour to get it into a reasonable state where we were happy to cook on it. We were disappointed in the decking area which was quite small - we were hoping to eat outside every evening but there was no room for a table (there was only a small round table and 2 chairs) . As there were 6 adults we had to use the beach chairs squashed onto the decking so that we could all sit together and have a drink. It was great being able to walk to the beach and having the pool so close (though unfortunately it was only opened halfway through our stay). Once the pool opened it was excellent and uncrowded - we swam in it every day ( it may be an idea to let potential customers know when the season opens) This house would suit a family.

Comfortable home in convenient location

Well appointed and comfortable home close to beach and boardwalk. Enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and having pool access. We definitely appreciated the beach toys and other beach gear, family movies, games and books, always nice not to have to pack those items! We hope to stay here again. One note - the "king" bed in the master is really 2 attached twins. Not an issue but worth noting if you're tall!

Repeat stay

This was our 2nd summer staying here for a week with our kids and grandkids. Spacious and everything you need. Love the location to the pool. This year the wifi was very spotty, don't know why but still a wonderful stay.
