Great place, wrnkles

Sweet place, well-stocked, access to pool and hot tubs a plus. Checkin was a nightmare, Vrbo’s standard email had a glitch in “keys to your visit” link, not the fault of the host. Fireplace inoperable, disappointing but the host really tried to help, which was appreciated.

Condo was not cleaned upon arrival. Underwear hanging, towels on floor, dirty beds and trash

The first impression was absolutely horrible. The condo was not cleaned and no linens had be cleaned or beds made. Trash and food everywhere. Underwear hanging in bathrooms, towels on the floor. When trying to contact the property manager it took an hour for us to hear from her. We arrived at 4:02 when check in is at 4pm. We were disgusted to find that our “relaxing mountain getaway” was in fact a mess. At first we almost thought it was double booked because it truly looked like people were still in the condo. I am very displeased as we traveled across the state to come to a dirty place. We had to interrupt our plans and leave the condo while a cleaning company finally came in. Definitely was not the experience we wanted. I hope they truly did give us new bed sheets and cleaned everything like it should have been and didn’t rush through it.

Great place to stay in a great little town

The property was nicely located to the main street, and to lots of bike trails. Had everything we needed to make dinners and to unwind after active days. The loft was perfect for our 2 teens. Would definitely book again.

Great Location/Beautiful Views

This is a prefect location and central to many out lying ski areas and fun little towns. Breckenridge, Copper, Vail, Keystone and Silverthorne outlets, also Dillon lake. We were here in the summer and there is biking, golfing, boating etc. The town of Frisco has amazing restaurants great food, coffee etc. This condo is facing the mountains and is quiet with amazing views.

Our week away

The location is fantastic, but we did have some challenges for check-in. The paperwork said the check in was at three, but our condo wasn’t ready till 4:30. It’s a beautiful two bedroom condo, but we had to fix the shower door in the upstairs bathroom (true value hardware trip) and I had to unclog the shower in the main bathroom because it would not drain. It was nice having underground parking, and the beds were comfortable.

Great Location, Good Price.

Overall, the property was good. The location is fantastic and good price for that location. Some minor improvements need to be done as far as better cleaning: it’s pretty dusty in some areas and the carpets look like they could be vacuumed better.

Great location, needs some care

Great location in Frisco. However, it could use some basic upgrades. Lamps don't work in living room area, pots and pans need serious replacement and hot water heater kept going out. Beds were great but could use some overall love and care for the rest of the place to make the location match the space. Otherwise good overall layout and parking.

Convenient and plenty of room for the three adults.

Good property, especially for the price. We had a bit of a snag with the heater's pilot light being out but the owner responded immediately and got it up and running for us. I would definitely stay here again!

Mountainside Retreat is great for us!

We just stayed at the Mountainside retreat for the 3rd time. After a day of skiing at any of the nearby resorts it is great to get back and cook in and just relax. We like going to the hut tub, indoor pool and sauna. Each stay we went for a slightly bigger condo and each stay the accommodations are better. Fire place, balcony, loft area, eating areas, # of bathrooms, sheltered parking etc. This year was the best! My only complaint is some of the hot tubs weren't working as well as others. The town is nearby if shopping and eating out is you thing. I do recommend you have a car even though there is a bus to copper from town... I also think more towels should be provided. 2 for every sleeping area. If you have a fold out it should be comfortable for 2. The price is reasonable! THANKS! 4 1/2

small but cute

Let's start with the good things first. - great location, coded entry (no picking up keys somewhere), covered parking (although tight with a bigger car), walking distance to town, decorated cute, it looks like a new flatscreen tv in the living room (different from the pix), club house with an indoor pool, hottub, dry & wet saunas & 3 outdoor hottubs. That is what really drew us to this condo for our group's getaway/event. The pantry was big and had lots of things if you needed them. We even saw a moose a little distance from the back of the condo! Now for the cons - the place is about 900+ sq ft. The pictures make the kitchen look bigger than it really is, the beds (both full size) upstairs although comfortable really need to be bigger or the upstairs redone with 1 queen & futon or bunkbeds. We couldn't get a good nights sleep with 2 of us in a double. It was a little hot up there even with the ceiling fan on so we ended up pulling out the portable fan that was in the closet. We heard people stomping around next door for a good part of the 1st night. We did enjoy the hottubs but it would have been nice to know that we should have brought our own towels. With 6 of us in the condo there weren't enough towels to shower and take to the hottubs. I know she stated she is now advertising that this condo sleeps less than 6 to give folks a more comfortable stay. We found the sofa uncomfortable for sitting. I think the cushions need to be replaced or something. There was something wrong with the dishwasher and let her know once we figured it wasn't working (the morning we checked out), so she was sending out the handyman to take a look at it. It's a really new dishwasher but we couldn't get it to turn on. We wondered why we kept pulling out dirty dishes from the cupboards. The folks who stayed before us must have put the dishes in the dishwasher thinking it had turned on/cleaned them then the cleaning crew put them away .. but they were dirty. I might go back to this condo but wouldn't bring 6 adults, maybe 4 adults and a child.

Great location to visit all of the local resorts!

Condo was perfect for 4 guests. First floor was easy to get in and out of to the garage. I would recommend having a humidifier since the air is so dry. Otherwise, it was just what we needed.

Won't return

First the positive. Good quiet, location in Frisco where there were several nice restauarnts. A nice, well equipped kitchen that had been modernized. Comfy beds. Underground parking. Great views from LR. Good linens and towels. 1st level location important as there were a couple sets of stairs from car park and there was no elevator. Rustic decor and art was interesting and quaint. Hot tubs and pool at nearby club house were well maintained for this approx 30 year old development. The laundry for this and all units is located in the clubhouse and worked just fine. We struggled with whatever in the unit triggered which our allergies which abated whenever we left and went out . There are areas needing cleaning such as carpet between DR table and kitchen bar. Also the ceiling fan in the LR is positively filthy. We suspect that there may be dust in fabric areas which triggered allergies. The old DVD player did not work and there was no DVR, something we wish to have to replay daytime financial news when we returned from slopes. The 2 bed sleeping area in the loft open to the LR was no problem for the two of us but a larger group might not appreciate this. The sink in that loft area is rusted and needs to be replaced. One expects some worn surfaces in a unit this old but a little attention to some of them, attention to updating electronics and a deep cleaning would likely go a long way.

Perfect! Great view, quaint furnishings, very comfortable!

Loved this condo! Very comfortable for family of four. The loft is so spacious with 2 full beds and large bath. Everything about the furnishings shouts Colorado, with the lovely view of the mountains. Close to town, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain.

Great Location, Smaller than expected

The location in Frisco is A+. Super close to both Breckenridge and Keystone. The clubhouse hot tubs were very nice. The place is advertised to sleep 8, which it physically can. However, this is difficult unless everyone is very close (sharing full beds) and doesn't have much luggage (unlikely during ski season). We had 4 adults/1 toddler one night, which seemed perfect, and 5 adults/1 toddler the second night, which seemed cramped.

Why they chose this property

I grew up skiing on the east coast but after attending University of Colorado: Boulder, I never went back to those slopes. I fell in love with Colorado and it became our family tradition to ski there every winter. We purchased this condo because it is so centrally located and we can easily ski Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper, Keystone, Breckenridge, or A Basin. We also selected this condo because the clubhouse offers better amenities than any other complex in the area. With its indoor heated pool, indoor and 3 outdoor hot tubs, racquet ball court, tennis courts, steam room, sauna, and laundromat it has everything. Most other complexes we looked at before buying this condo had only one hot tub.
