Very convenient to have a Hannafords closely! We had bicycles and were so near the park. Could leave car parked by the VRBO and get to the park in minutes without negotiating traffic! You could get some new fry pans that are flat....but otherwise, everything was great. We ran out of salt, so you should stock up on that. Great to have washer / dryer. Watched Netflix on the TV screen. That was great! LOVED THIS PLACE!
Perfect location for our trip to Bar Harbor & Acadia - walkable to all of the shops & restaurants, and an easy drive to Acadia hikes. The off-street parking was amazing to have!
The house was well-stocked and comfortable, and generally clean (bedding and linens, etc) but could very much use a deep clean and vacuum.
Highly recommend staying here. It’s right in downtown, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The place was clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor. The house is within walking distance to everything. The house has a lovely small yard with deck that was perfect for your morning coffee or cocktail in the evening. We would definitely stay again.
Super cute place in easy walking distance of town!
We had a great time for our ladies weekend. We could walk anywhere in Bar Harbor with ease, and driving into Acadia was a cinch. The pictures don’t do the location justice. It’s lovely!!
The location of the property is great and the apartment is spacious, well stocked, nicely decorated and gets beautiful natural light during the day. However we would not choose to stay here again unless some items are addressed by the host. The box spring of the queen size bed seemed to be broken, making a very loud sound at the slightest movement. And the door of the bedroom with the two twin size beds didn’t close. Our daughter had to rest her suitcase against the door to keep it closed. Also, there was a family staying in the apartment above and we were woken up by them walking around each morning, so it would be very helpful if the owner of the above apartment gets more carpeting, etc so that the sound doesn’t carry as much.
Perfect place for a 5 day girls trip to Bar Harbor! Location was absolutely perfect. We walked everywhere we needed to go: e-bikes, kayaking, whale tour, shopping, grocery store, and many restaurants. Check in was a breeze. The hosts were super helpful and responsive to all emails. I feel they went above and beyond for us. Would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!!
Great apartment with parking. Comfy beds, nice equipped kitchen. Supermarket just down the street. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Called the owner to let us know we arrived. He never called back
If you're looking for a place in Bar Harbor and this fits the number of people in your party, jump all over this beauty at 5 Jordan Place! The host communicated well and the home was clean with tons of character. It is only a short block down the street to the Bar Island Land Bridge and a couple blocks downtown. No need to drive anywhere in town. We did get sunrise reservations for the Cadillac Mt summit sunrise and it was only a 17 minute drive. Will definitely book this place again when in the area.
The house was in the perfect location - just a few minute walk from all the shopping and dining and right off the turn to get on Park Loop Road. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The parking spot is very convenient!
Our only complaint were with the mattresses. They are quite thin and hard. Otherwise, the house was perfect and I would definitely rent it again!
5 Stars on all accounts with one slight exception:
TV receptions cuts in and out for sometimes 10 seconds but often to over 30 seconds and beyond. Limited access to major networks.
Tom was very communicative. Allowed for late checkout. Bed was not comfortable. For how much we paid I didn’t expect to have to clean up everything including dishes and towels and sheets. Had everything we needed though.
The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, utensils, pot and pans etc. as well as very clean. We enjoyed having the laundry facilities at the home. There was a lovely deck and patio. This was the easiest host to deal with as well as check in. We loved how close and convenient it was to town and activities We are looking forward to returning.
This was the second time we booked this unit, the first time was in 2022, coming out of the pandemic. The location of this unit is unbelievably convenient for a base to explore Acadia park as well as the town of Bar Harbor. Parking space immediately outside the unit, make convenient loading/unloading.Located very centrally in Bar Harbor, very short walk to EVERYTHING! Right down Bridge street to the pedestrian "Bar" of Bar Harbor, 90 second walk to grocery store (which has a crazy busy parking lot), equally short walks to bakery/restaurants/shops of Bar Harbor. Makes exploring very relaxing, no need to hunt out bathrooms. The unit itself is very large/comfortable with open kitchen/dining/living area, nice area to relax in evenings after full days of sightseeing. Kitchen might be able to use a few more cooking pieces, but for the most part we ate out or heated up leftovers (who really wants to cook on vacation). We would definitely recommend this/and will stay again for our next visit to Acadia.
Tom was very communicative and the house was just as described. The VRBO was very centrally located and we loved walking to local restaurants and the land bridge for sunsets and sunrises! We would recommend this spot for a stress free Bar Harbor getaway.
The perfect location for our Bar Harbor visit. We were just across the street from the sand bar and walking distance to all Bar Harbor has to offer. Our host was quick to respond if we had questions. The unit was spacious, clean and adequately stocked. The beds were comfortable and quilts were provided to take care of the chilly nights. A huge plus for me was the amazing collection of books! I could have stayed forever to read them. Hope to return one day!
The size, layout, parking, and proximity to the down town area is great!!

I lived and worked in Bar Harbor for years and I spend as much time here as possible. My brothers are fortunate enough to live here year round. In 2004, we built this house for our mother. This is where my family and I stay when we're here.
