Very pleasant, nicely-updated 2 BR 1 BA downstairs apartment, walk to everything.

This recently renovated downstairs apartment is ideally located in the heart of Bar Harbor village. It offers walking convenience to local shops, restaurants, the grocery store, and town parks. You're also just a short stroll away from the famous tidal sandbar, "The Bar," which connects the village to Bar Island. It's the perfect home base for exploring the village on foot or by bike, and for venturing out to Acadia National Park either by car or via the free Island Explorer bus system from the nearby Village Green.

Queen bedroom, 2 twins bedroom, full bath. Window AC in dining room (in July & Aug).

Off-street parking for ONE vehicle; additional metered parking and remote lot access nearby.

Weekly Rental: Saturday-Saturday bookings.

No Pets. No Smoking.
Rates include the cost of normal departure cleaning.

All houses are fully equipped, including linens and dishes. No pets, no smoking anywhere on this property.
Refundable security deposit, 9% Maine State Sales Tax and a $25 nonrefundable booking fee are not included in the rental rates shown.

Terrific location, close to downtown and grocery store, but on a quiet street. Small and clean, with everything we needed. Hosts were easy to work with. Highly recommend if large space not a requirement.

Pleasant stay in Bar Harbor

Overall, we were quite pleased with the rental and location. Very close to attractions, supermarket, bars, restaurants, etc. The house was clean and looked like the pictures. Only comment i can think of, is the bushes were overgrown in the parking spots, but still managed to park off street.

Great Bar Harbor Stay

The location of this house is great! It is half a block to the shopping district. It is half a block in the other direction to the path to Barr island. It’s a great jumping off spot for all of Acadia. Bike rentals or kayak trips are 2-3 blocks away. The location is ideal! And one off-street spot means no looking for or paying for parking in Bar Harbor. It is a small and simple space but very adequate for a family of four. We cooked or grilled at home for several meals and enjoyed that. The grocery store is reasonably priced and is only 2 blocks away.
