About this property

(New) Beautiful Ocean View - Cottage - Access to the Shore - 2 houses to rent

This beautiful home is located less than 75 feet from the shore on Narraguagus Bay where one can sit and watch lobster boats, seals, eagles, and take in all of the beauty of life on the ocean.

When you are not enjoying the view and relaxing on the patio, you can enjoy a short drive (45 mins) to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Rogue Bluff, or local hiking. You will never be bored on your vacation!.

While visiting Milbridge you can dine at local restaurants (44 Degrees and the Milbridge House), take a sea tour with a local lobster fisherman, or have lobsters on the deck provided from the biggest and best lobsterman in the area!

The house is set up with a kitchen, entertainment room, large patio, master bedroom (king bed), and a loft with 2 twin beds. In addition, the house is equipped with all the cooking needs so that you don't have to eat out every night while enjoying the view at the end of the day!

The location is extremely private and off the road with a large area so that children have plenty of room to safely play without the concerns of traffic. Located on the property while on a walk to the shore, you will be able to pick Maine Wild Blueberries during the months of July and August.

You will not find a better location in Milbridge or Downeast Maine. Most people will tell you that this is a one-of-a-kind location!

We have an additional house on the property (3 bedrooms) for extra family and friends. 2nd house is available for rent if you are looking for more room.

This is a non-smoking rental. $500 dollar penalty for smoking.

The space worked well for our family. We particularly enjoyed this area for the closeness to a grocery and a handful of restaurants. The amenities were as advertised and the location was an hour from Acadia.

We had a wonderful time it’s such a great location with beautiful views. We wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle and this was perfect. beautiful home and even better views. Only about an hour drive from bar harbor and acadia which made day trips easy. Far enough away from there to enjoy peace and quit. Eat some of the best lobster rolls at Chipmans Warf for half the price you will pay in bar harbor!

What an exceptional property! Had everything we needed to feel right at home. We had a glorious time here and spent much time exploring the surrounding towns offerings. I am currently the Superintendent of School in Bidderford, ME. The property was owned by my grandfather who once operated a sardine factory in the town of Milbridge. We have been renting this location for the past 4 summers and are currently adding a second cottage to the location so that people can travel with family and friends. My family and friends still live about a 1/2 mile from this location.

The most unique working waterfront view in all of the area!

What makes this property unique

The house offers a private setting on a working waterfront. I don't believe you will find a setting like this anywhere else. It is unbelievably close to the ocean and lobster boats.
