About the Place
Shorebirds Resort is a bit of a kept secret—nestled between protected natural habitats, farmland, and a marine sanctuary. From your beachfront perch, you can:

• Spot dolphins, seals, and pelicans from your window
• Kayak the nearby slough or paddle board off the Santa Cruz harbor

Named after our parents, Jean and Marie, this is our second home—and we’ve made it as inviting for you as it is for our closest friends. The space is designed for comfort and ease, with thoughtful touches throughout:

Our favorite spot!

Our favorite summer vacation destination is Pajaro Dunes, CA and every time we come we always stay at the Shore Birds Condominiums. It is a beautiful condo, a stone’s throw away from the beach, and Marc Z. is hospitable and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend a visit and plan on reserving a future stay.

We really enjoyed the time we spent at Pajaro Dunes and found the host and property to be exceptional. We were looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature and found it! Easy access to go north to San Francisco and south down Highway 1.

Our hardworking immigrant parents, Jean and Marie, graciously left us the means to purchase this wonderful second home. It is owned by siblings, Maire-Jeanne and Marc and their respective husbands.

Pajaro Dunes has been a family reunion destination for years. We are so happy that we can now call it home. We hope you will fell the same way when you visit!

Why they chose this property

It's a great setting to just be in-the-moment and unwind. When we come here, there are no TTD lists!

We enjoy cooking and family dinners. In a few minutes we can be at the Cabrillo Farmer's market in Santa Cruz or the local fruits stands. Phil's Fish Market in Moss landing is just a few miles away. We shop. We cook. We invites friends and just enjoy.

BUT....you should read our guest comments!!!

What makes this property unique

The View! There's nothing like that first cup of coffee on the deck , skimming the water surface for whale spouts or dolphins....enjoying the morning ocean breeze.
