We had a lovely stay at the Albion cottage Daylesford. Location was great as walking distance to shops & restaurants. Loved that it was dog friendly too.
The location of the property made for very easy access to both town and Hepburn.
The experience was made easy, the property presentation excellent and location perfect. The ambience and decoration made for a very comfortable stay, will definitely be returning.
Conveniently located to the centre of town. Check in process was quick and easy. Wet, dirty mop head left in kitchen sink cupboard, making us gag every time we opened that cupboard, I eventually put this outside. Cobwebs in every room. The unsealed driveway was a bit of nightmare to get up and down, you just about need an SUV or 4WD, with tall hedge on one side and garden close on the other. If you are a migraine sufferer, be prepared to hunt down the plug in air fresheners as they were overpowering. Bring extra towels if you like one for your hair, you only get one towel for two nights. There is no walk in shower, shower over bathtub which can be a problem if you have mobility issues. Other than all that it was a good stay.
Albion was advertised as a cosy 2 bedroom cottage, and did not disappoint. The cottage was spacious yet homy, and met all our expectations. Will definitely be coming back.
