About this property

Crewe Cottage - Sandgate

We took over from the amazing host Tracy in mid-November 2018. This cottage is an original Queenslander with everything you need to make life comfortable, relaxing & enjoyable. Only 10 mins walk to shops, cafes, parks, public transport and the beautiful Moreton Bay. Easy access to Brisbane City, Airport, Sunshine & Gold Coasts. The cottage is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families.

The space
The house is totally self contained providing everything that a home requires. The three bedrooms, sleeping up to five people, are configured as 1 x queen, 1 x double and 1 x single. The bathroom boasts a large walk in shower, pedestal basin and toilet. The second toilet is conveniently located to the rear of the house, close to the outdoor area.

Self-Contained Kitchen and dining table. Large living space for the whole family.

The Queensland outdoor lifestyle theme carries to the fully fenced garden at the rear of the house where you will find a large covered outdoor living area complete with bbq and outdoor dining setting.

Guest access
The house is a self managed space. You will have code access the key safe to let yourself in and come and go as you please.
The house has front and back access.
There is street parking available (no meters or time limits in our street)

Great place to stay in top area of Sandgate. Hosts were very responsive so I definitely recommend this cottage. The only thing I'd like to see changed is, if an air-conditioner is not possible, to fit into the other two bedrooms, then blockout blinds be fitted to the windows as the middle bedroom gets exceptionally hot, as well very bright early morning making it hard to have a good sleep.

Very cute cottage, dogs loved the garden and chilling out on the verandah. Our 3 year old Staffie/Cattle mix couldn't get enough of the great off leash beach area. Great to have a real dog friendly place .

Lovely few days

The cottage is in a really good location. It is clean and well appointed, with all of the facilities required. Easy access to all the local shops and the esplanade. We had a lovely weekend there, and would recommend to anyone wanting to spend time in Sandgate.

Gorgeous cottage

Crewe Cottage is a lovely 1890s cottage, renovated and decorated in a way to blend modern conveniences with original features. It felt like a truely special space to stay in. Communication with host Kimberley was top notch. Would love to stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Cottage review

The whole process was awesome and Kimberley was extremely helpful and very friendly. The cottage was amazing and beautifully presented. Loved being able to have our dogs with us and the location was perfect. Would absolutely recommend Crewe Cottage and would definitely stay again.
