Xmas New Year Peak Period - Summer season , seeking minimum 7 night bookings.

This architectural studio is contemporary, fitted with exposed steel beams, floor to ceiling glass and charcoal timbers. Set in the charming coastal resort of Lorne, this property offers first class accommodation, within a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops, restaurants/cafes.

Views to the Pier and Loutit Bay. Charming split level residence with two merbau decks to capture those stunning bay views and birdlife. Sit on your balcony and watch the birds come to you, colourful, tame and quite friendly, you will be visited even by kookaburras.

This is an adults retreat suitable for 2 persons or 3 in special circumstances. (unsuitable for children). Tariff applicable if more than 2 guests.
CONTAINING 2 bedrooms with queen beds, bathroom leading on to rear deck. Open plan kitchen/dining/living area -Split system air-con/heating, ceiling fans, DVD, sound system, two flat screen TV s , kitchen equipped with cutlery, crockery, microwave, dishwasher, electric range.

Window louvers throughout to let in all that glorious sea breeze. Leave your car (OSP) and walk everywhere. Watch the lights of the pier light up like a Christmas tree, listen to the sound of the waves whilst drifting off to sleep. A memorable experience, indeed.

There is a small charge for linen/towels (doonas and pillows provided) for o/seas and interstate guests to cover laundering. We appreciate your understanding with this.

Lorne summer stay

House has a great view, disappointing no wifi (I should have checked more thoroughly) and TV reception poor. Has most things you need although need to bring your own linen which was ok but could be difficult for some people. Maybe needs an update with kitchen utensils, etc.

Lovely studio in great location

We stayed for a lovely weekend in this studio. Minor quibbles up front - (as others have commented) the requirement to clean whilst paying a cleaning fee does seem a bit cheeky. There were cleaning products supplied but no cleaning cloths which made things awkward. As advertised, there are no condiments/toiletries, this includes even the basics often supplied elsewhere- soap, tea and coffee. You will need to bring everything you need. There are a number of instructions and notes to keep things clean and treat doors,blinds etc carefully. All of which does take the edge off a fully relaxed holiday vibe. That said, this is a great place to stay, quiet, yet close to centre of Lorne (especially if you’re prepared to walk the steep steps down the hill). The studio is very comfortable and the floor to ceiling windows allow stunning views. We enjoyed watching the kookaburra positioned every morning on the power pole close by.
