Cotter's townhouse was a delight. It's a lovely short walk into town and has a beautiful view out to the lights of the pier at night. Compact and very clean. The full length windows across the front of the Townhouse allow maximum light to filter through into the living area.

Great position but some disappointments

As described the view was great and the walk to town was easy and convenient. Loved this! However, there were a few disappointments. We had to wait 7 hours for the hot water to kick in even though we turned it on upon arrival and the glasses were mismatched and dirty (probably the fault of previous guests?).

We very much enjoyed our stay in this spotlessly clean and neat little holiday house. Floor to ceiling windows maximise the lovely views of Louttit Bay looking over to the Lorne Pier. Right across the road from the beach and a short enjoyable walk to supermarket and main shopping/eating area of Lorne. Good shower and comfy bed. No need to use car once you get there. Great accomodation and location.

We stayed for a weekend recently in November - the location was as described - great access to the beach with beautiful views from living room and master bedroom. Unfortunately though we arrived at 5.30pm unaware we were required to turn hot water on when we arrived so made showering a toddler and baby difficult. We also were unaware that the unit required us to do a full clean for incoming guests as we assumed cleaning would be included in tariff. Our usual experience is to leave a property clean and tidy for the cleaners to come through after our departure. For a two night stay with a toddler and baby in tow this was not ideal while on holidays.  Due to this I would look at other properties however if prepared to clean - views are great.

In our confirmation letter, we ask that our guests leave the property clean and tidy. We always have the property cleaned between guests. Instructions regarding setting the hot water are prominently displayed on arrival as well as mentioned in the confirmation letter. Our many previous reviews will show that none of our guests have had difficulties with these matters.

Well positioned within the fantastic beach side town of Lorne. Views across the water and to the town in the distance was a bonus. Beach was a 1 min stroll and the town a 15 min walk along the beach or 2 min drive. The town house was clean comfortable and all facilities worked well. Do need to bring all your requirements tea, coffee, sugar, linen all food & condiments etc but was all part of the holiday fun. Driveway is quite steep so be prepared for a thrill driving in and out. Price to pay for the view ;-)

We had an amazing time here right across from the beach and only a short walk from the main street of Lorne. I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone who loves the beach. I would stay there again.
