About this property

Solomon Street Cottage

A sunny and airy executive short-term stay, close to Fremantle with parking, wifi, laundry and a chef`s kitchen.

Fully renovated three-bedroom traditional cottage located on Fremantle`s beautiful Solomon Street. Sunny courtyards, surrounded by tall trees, outdoor dining table, and French deck chairs. Lots of self-closing lockable gates for kiddies and pooches.

The cottage is light and breezy, with excellent insulation and green energy efficient values, built on the property during a 6-month extension project completed in November 2012. This includes a grey water system from the laundry, solar power, double-glazed windows, and solar passive heat banking. There are louvre windows to encourage ventilation from the South West breezes in Fremantle. There are air conditioners installed also.

The cottage has three bedrooms, with two double beds and 1 single bed. There are two bathrooms. The large living, dining, and kitchen has three sets of wide French doors onto the private courtyard, perfect for opening up and enjoying the fresh breeze on your break.

5 min walk to some of Fremantle`s favourite cafes. 10-minute walk to Central Freo cafe strip, shopping, and markets. Who`s Your Mumma wine bar is also within walking distance!

Digital keyless entry, so arrive at the property anytime after 3pm on the first day of your booking. Check out by 10am please.

Very comfortable and well set up

We found Solomon cottage to be a very comfortable stay .It is well equipped and set up and very clean including great towels and bed linen. It has gardens front and back and good location close to beaches and Fremantle town. Highly recommend for a great Fremantle stay

Solomon St Cottage was wonderful, communication & check in fantastic. Everything was clean and comfortable, it's a really nice setting with lovely features. Perfect to have dogs, close to parks or a short drive to dog beaches. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Fremantle stay

Very happy with cottage and location, however we found the beds to be very uncomfortable.Suggest putting some nicer beds for future guests. Would not stay again if the same beds were there.

Solomon Street Cottage, Fremantle is in a convenient location, with parking space and in walking distance to Fremantle centre and with good road links to the Perth region. It is a period cottage with lots of original features and updated accommodation, equipped with modern furniture and amenities. The kitchen is spacious with a good family stove and fridge and lots of counter space. There is a large dining table with eight chairs, a comfy sofa and two IKEA Poang armchairs for family gatherings around the large flat screen TV. The two bathrooms are well equipped with clean, soft white towels and good quality soaps/shampoos etc. Hot water was in plentiful supply. We used only the two double bedrooms and these were comfortable with clean white bed linen. The road was quiet at night. There was building work taking place at a neighbouring property but only during daytime hours. Occupants in the double bedroom adjacent to the lounge were troubled by mosquito bites but we could not see how they were getting in since all doors and windows are screened. We used the washer and drier in the outhouse once during our stay and these worked well. There are shrubs and trees providing shade in the rear yard with foliage close to the house so there are some cobwebs between these - a natural thing! We enjoyed our stay.

Was a fantastic home for our stay of 18 days.

No problem, very easy. So close to Fremantle, great bakery in walking distance. Very comfortable home and beds. Very quiet area. Even over Christmas and new year. Only problem was no air conditioning in main bedroom, but there is standing fan that helps to cool the room on a hot night. Would recommend it.

We loved this place!

We absolutely loved this house - 3 bedrooms were all very comfortable, having 2 bathrooms was great, the size of the kitchen/living/dining area was great for our 11 night stay. Parking on the premises was easy. Communication with the property managers was good. The house was well stocked with items to make your stay as easy and convenient as possible. The house was in a fantastic location - easy-Ish walk in to Fremantle. Pub (The Wray) is only 2 minutes walk away. Overall, we highly recommend it and would love to stay again one day.

Overall, really good. Just a few things to br checked: needed to check batteries in the remotes, a couple of lamps didnt work and the air conditioner in room 2 didnt work.
