One of the joys of the property is sitting on the west-facing verandah during sunset and watching the world go by – hidden behind the fence and foliage, but with peeks out to life on the terrace – and the option to join in within seconds!

Being so close to the beach and within an urban environment facing the street, you may hear the gossip of beach or pub goers, cars or the CAT bus passing by when located at the front of the property. If this vibrancy isn’t for you, you may wish to choose accommodation a little further away from the strip.

Alternatively, you have the option to retire to the couch on the back verandah under the shade of the old established eucalyptus tree or open out the second bathroom’s louvres and enjoy a bath with the old eucalyptus in view for some quiet contemplation.

The cottage also features a chef’s kitchen – the tiles in the original fireplace above the stovetop were designed to emulate the curves of the old man saltbush outside.

We love our green oasis nestled amongst the bakeries, cafes and pubs on bustling South Terrace and being a short walk away from South Beach – and hope you do too!
