Hawks Retreat – Family Holiday Home, Tuross Head

Summary:

Designed for families, Hawks Retreat offers five bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, two decks and a secure level backyard. Walk easily to One Tree Beach, the village shops and children’s playground, then return to relaxed indoor-outdoor living with room for everyone. Off-street parking is available for a car or boat, with local hosts nearby if needed.



The Space:

The main level features an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opening onto a rear deck with an extendable awning.



Three bedrooms are located upstairs: one king bedroom, one queen bedroom and one bedroom with a single bed and trundle. This level also has a bathroom with a bath and separate shower, plus a separate toilet.



Downstairs are two further bedrooms, both with queen beds, with an additional single bed in one room. There is also a second sitting area, another bathroom and toilet, and a laundry with a washing machine and dryer.



Outside, enjoy a second deck with outdoor furniture, a gas barbecue and shade umbrella. The level backyard is fully fenced and gated.



Guest Access:

Guests have private use of the home, both decks and the fenced backyard. Off-street parking for a car or boat is available in the driveway or behind the gate.



The garage, a locked private ground-floor area and the supply cupboard in the laundry are not available to guests.



Check-in details are sent before arrival. Guests may choose convenient self check-in using the property lockbox, or an in-person welcome may be available by prior arrangement during business hours.



Early check-in or late check-out may be available as an optional extra, subject to adjoining bookings, housekeeping and maintenance requirements. Availability can be confirmed 24 hours beforehand.



The Neighborhood:

Hawks Retreat is conveniently positioned near One Tree Beach, the Tuross Head village shops and the children’s playground.



The nearby beachfront walking and cycling path makes it easy to explore the coastline. Tuross Head’s beaches, lakes and waterways offer swimming, fishing, kayaking and relaxed coastal walks throughout the year.



Getting Around:

Enjoy a short, level walk to the village shops, with One Tree Beach and the playground also close by. Off-street parking is provided for a car or boat.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION



• Non-smoking property.

• No parties, events or group bookings.

• Sorry, pets are not permitted.

• Maximum occupancy is nine guests, including adults and children. Guest numbers must match the confirmed booking.

• Please bring beach towels and toiletries.

• A non-refundable booking fee of $125 applies.

• A refundable $1,000 security deposit applies by card pre-authorisation.

• A seven-night minimum stay applies during Peak Season.

• The garage, private ground-floor area and locked supply cupboard are unavailable to guests.



GUEST REGISTRATION AND IDENTIFICATION



After booking confirmation, the Booking Guest will receive a link to the Guest Registration & Terms Acceptance form. It must be completed within 24 hours and requires acceptance of the Booking Terms and valid photo identification. Access information may be withheld until these requirements are completed.



CANCELLATIONS



For direct bookings, the cancellation deadline is 4:59 pm, property local time, 60 days before arrival when the booking includes any night in Peak Season—18 December to 31 January inclusive—and 30 days before arrival for all other stays.



Cancellations received by the applicable deadline are refunded according to the Booking Terms, less the non-refundable booking fee and a $150 cancellation fee. After the applicable deadline, 50% of the accommodation fee is payable and the booking fee remains non-refundable.
