Summary:

Come stay in our beautiful charming one bedroom apartment with the city at your doorstep. Perfect for 2-4 guests looking to make the most out of the city! Nestled in Logan Circle neighborhood, WALK to everything inc. the White House in under 25 minutes. Cute little outside seating area, guests can people watch in one of the coolest neighborhoods in the District!



The Space:

Our bright English basement can comfortably sleep 4 guests in two queen beds. There is a queen in the master, and a brand new tempurpedic queen sized sofa bed in the living room.



Big TV and open floor plan allow for intimate but interactive evenings after exploring! Full Kitchen with Bosch dishwasher, Bloomberg refrigerator and kitchen island - chef`s should feel right at home!



Bright light and colorful artwork contribute to the funky, contemporary vibe; while the cozy furnishings mellow the space into a haven of relaxation with the city at your doorstep.



Guest Access:

The unit is not shared. Guests will have access to the entire home.



The Neighborhood:

This timeless neighborhood is perfect for those to experience the city as a resident rather then a tourist - Logan Circle is undoubtedly the city`s best neighborhood for restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife. The unit is directly off the Circle and is 1 block from the 14th street corridor: Whole Foods, Starbucks, CVS, and multiple bars/restaurants on every block. The city`s trendiest bars and restaurants have located along 14th Street and the U Street Corridor - both within easy walking distance - so it`s the perfect location for a nice dinner or to enjoy a night on the town. We include numerous recommendations in the house manual.



All of these amenities are only a short away, and so is the noise. This unit is located on a quiet residential street directly off Logan Circle.



Getting Around:

Logan Circle is in the middle of all metro lines - access to the Red line, Orange/Blue/Silver, and Yellow/Green lines are located at 3 different stations all located within blocks of this unit, the closest being Shaw-Howard Metro Station. Dupont Circle metro is less then 20 minutes on foot from the home and offers some of the best restaurants and upscale retail locations in the city!

Several bus lines have stops located less than 1 block from the unit as well. Ubers are readily available (usually a 1-2 minute wait) and it costs around $6-10 or less to get anywhere in the city due to the convenient location.

So let me start with the good, it is a very nice clean Apartment in a very good neighborhood about a 30 min walk from everything in DC. The on the street parkkng is a great plus in DC, though initially very confusing to get processed. Having a washer a dryer on a longer stay was awesome. There is plenty of great food very close, get a pepperoni pizza from Red Light, it was great. Now the things we didn’t like, and some are just for someone like us, we are in our 50’s and walking to far can be a challenge. So I wish I had checked where the Metro was and been closer, but again that is a personal thing. If you don’t mind walking 30-40min ridding a lime bike or taking a bus, it won’t be an issue. So we just Ubered everywhere. Not cost effective, but we had a good time.The last thing I will say, the upstairs neighbor sounded like he was running back and forth very loudly for several of the days, at times late at night. Dragging a chair at 12:30 may not bother others who live in apartments, but we had a few rough nights sleep. I think there are a few apartment above and one night they had a rooftop party, definitely ran later then the 10pm curfew that was expressed at rental. Closer to 1am. With all that said I really did like the apartment, and would consider renting it again, as I am sure some of that is just the way it is in DC.

Great Home Base for a DC Stay

This unit was perfect for us! Spotlessly clean, new unit had all we needed for our DC trip. The unit had new furnishings including a very comfortable bed. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet given that it is very close to a very vibrant, busy part of the city. Whole Foods and Trader Joes are within walking distance, as well as numerous places to eat and shop. The unit is only a half mile from the Shaw-Howard Metro station and there are 3 other metro stations within a mile or less. We easily walked to the National Mall each day. The property management company is very responsive. They respond in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner even in the evening and on weekends. We would definitely rent this unit again.
