About this property

Just 15 minute walk from the Big House!

This family home is a one and a half story with plenty of spaces to visit. The main floor features a kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom and 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has custom built bunk beds (sleeps 2). The second room includes a double bed (sleeps 2). A third bedroom, with a king bed (sleeps 2), is located on the upper level in an open master suite. The upper level also features an office with a convertible couch (sleeps 1, probably a child). The finished basement hosts TV room (couch sleeps 1), office, workout room, bathroom and laundry room. This is a great space to hang out before or after the game. Our private, fenced yard and patio areas are great for extending the gatherings outside.

Our home is a short walk from the Big House, the shops of downtown and the energy of the University of Michigan campus. We are also within blocks of 2 great parks.

We loved our stay at Barb and her family’s house. It was a perfect setup for our family - kids loved the bunks and playing downstairs. Adults loved the kids playing downstairs ;) and workout equipment and coffee-making options. Everything was as described and Barb went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, and left us some yummy treats as well. Location was amazing, walkable to the Big House, parks and Main St. would definitely recommend and love to come back.

Cute family home in a quiet neighborhood close to the Big House

Four friends celebrating their 60th birthdays stayed here. The owner was fantastic to communicate with and their home was ideal. The Big House is just down the road and the town was close by. The home is cozy with a lovely backyard.

The Perfect House in AA

We sincerely enjoyed our time in this home. It felt was warm and inviting, cozy yet spacious. The owners went out of their way to have it ready for us. We came into town for graduation weekend and the location could not have been more ideal. It was an easy walk to the Big House. We felt close enough to town that we could walk or take a short uber (if we were feeling tired) yet far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. We feel so grateful we were able to spend our weekend in this home.

Great House for Homecoming Weekend

We had a great time staying here. The house was great for our families to enjoy Friday night, pre-game and post game. The house was very clean and organized! We had plenty of space for people as well as our cars and food. The kids of the group enjoyed the toys, games, books & Legos available to use for our short stay. We enjoyed the back yard game day as well as the park down the street. We had a short drive to campus and to the local grocery stores. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Little House In Ann Arbor

We stayed here for a Michigan football weekend and it was perfect. Its walking distance to the stadium/campus and tons of fun bars and restaurants … and shopping! The house itself had everything we needed and Barbara and her husband were super nice and helpful. The backyard was really big and had a grill and tables out there to hang out ( weather permitting) ...They left us instructions for everything we may need to know, and they were really welcoming! We will definitely be back next year! Thank You Barb and family we LOVED your home!

Great Location!

What a lovely home! It was perfect for us. We booked this home to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from UMich. It proved to be a wonderful location, great for scenic walks, outdoor relaxing and very convenient to The Big House. My family was so appreciative when we walked to the graduation and did not have to pay $80 per vehicle for parking. Yikes! The home is filled with peaceful, cozy retreats, yet still has ample area to gather as a group and visit. We appreciated the personal touches and were delighted to discover a yoga space, perfect for our three generations of yoga enthusiasts. Barb was incredibly accommodating, and I am so thankful for the wonderful memories created in her enchanting home.

Ideal Weekend Stay

We are a busy family of 4 with two children (a 15 year old and a and a 20 year old off at school). We moved to Michigan in 2007 and LOVE Ann Arbor. There is so much to do! While Barb is from Canada and Brian from Minnesota, we expect Ann Arbor will be our long-time home.

Why they chose this property

We love this little house. It's an easy walk downtown and to campus (and of course the Michigan Stadium). Its a tree lined street with friendly neighbors who take pride in their community.

What makes this property unique

Cozy home with lots of spaces for gathering with friends and family. Private yard, front porch and fenced back patio extend the living spaces to the outdoors!
