The place was so welcoming, clean and Eric was great at communications for entering and eateries near by (many) just a perfect visit. If I could rate a place more than a 5 star, this would be it.
Our stay in the cottage was simply delightful! The cottage itself was nice and cozy and very well appointed and very private. Eric the host was kind, hospitable, and extremely knowledgeable of Petaluma’s music scene, dining, and places to visit. We will definitely be back. Eric invited us into his dining room and cooked us an amazing breakfast with his signature recipe of banana and coconut pancakes! So delicious. But most importantly to us was the chance to make a heartfelt connection with a truly kind and caring man whom clearly relishes his role as a VRBO host!
It is our return stay and I’m sure we will be back another time or two. Eric, our host, is extremely hospitable and accommodating. The place, although a bit small (we say cozy) it is very well equipped and comfortable. Our dog loves it too.
By far, Eric was the best host we have ever experienced. He was very communicative, friendly and made our stay memorable as well as delightful. The accommodation had everything we needed with coffee, beverages and some nice snacks. The bed was perfect, as it was very comfortable.
Our hosts were amazingly helpful, generous and welcoming. Our place, although small, was well equipped and furnished with lots of “goodies” — a bottle of wine, soft drinks, treats, etc. We were given a large slice of freshly baked chocolate pecan tart and invited for breakfast. We have already made reservations to return.
Loved the small gated backyard. Bed was very comfortable. Great location to walk downtown for shopping and restaurants. Host great at communicating from the time we booked til we left and was very accomodating while we were there.
Eric is a very generous host! We really enjoyed staying at the Petaluma cottage because of the proximity to a venue where we were speaking and also because it is a pet friendly cottage. We will definitely go back.
Great communication with the host. Cozy cottage was tucked away with a secure garden area for our dog to roam. There were fresh baked cookies waiting in our room on arrival. The host also offered to make us breakfast but unfortunately we had other plans with local family, so we had to miss out. The room also provided refreshments in the fridge, morning coffee, a nice large tv, & a comfortable bed. We walked around the neighborhood and enjoyed looking at all the unique houses in the area and found a beautiful local park to take our dog. The host was always available to answer any questions and give any recommendations we required. Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night, but would definitely go back again for a longer visit (and partake in the offering of breakfast). Thanks for a relaxing night stay.
Private yard. Very quiet. Cozy for 2. Friendly host. Walk to town. Great experience. Street parking no problem steps from front door. Lush trees offer shade and privacy.
Eric has a lovely, comfortable room in west Petaluma. He is a most gracious host. Cookies on arrival! Offers of breakfast, drinks for the in-room fridge, suggestions of restaurants, extra towels, and maybe a tour of his music collections :) Walking everywhere in town is easy from here. Thank you Eric, for a perfect stay.
A detached apartment offered privacy, comfort and every amenity I required. I appreciated the comfortable bed, great shower and a well thought out design that makes use of a cozy space. But what stands apart is the host's commitment to making your stay an experience. From a welcoming bottle of wine, fresh-baked cookies and soft drinks in the fridge when I arrived, to the surprise of breakfast every day (banana pancakes, brioche french toast and more), this stay surpassed all of my past VRBO experience. Eric made early contact, fielded all my requests and made access and departure a breeze. Knowledgeable about all-things Petaluma, Eric also gave me great recommendations for local restaurants and the music scene and what else I might do over my five-day stay. I booked my next visit before I left. If you're on your own or with a partner, look no further. This is the place.

Thank you so very much for the kind review, Neil. It is easy to be a good host when a guest is so gracious, communicative, and generous. You are five stars yourself and I look forward to hosting you again and hope you bring Kate with you as well! Many thanks,
Eric
