Cast a line and catch bass right from your dock. Bring the kayaks and explore the beautiful Salmon River Estuary right from your own back yard! Or, bring a larger boat to access Lake Ontario’s world renowned fishing and beaches. For boats, you can launch at pinegrove or the Salmon River lighthouse and motor up to the lodge. The docks is good for +/-22' boat or smaller. Rather keep your feet on solid ground? Take a leisurely hike along Douglaston Salmon Run’s private 2.5 miles of the Salmon River. Selkirk Shores and Sandy Island Beach State Park are just a short drive away or explore a plethora of state land in the back country of nearby Tug Hill.

Why they chose this property
The Barclay family opened Douglaston Salmon Run in 1987 as a private-water sports-fishery. The property has been in the family since 1807, when it was settled by Colonel Rufus Price, an Aide-de-Camp to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
