Overlooking the breathtaking Salmon River Estuary, this lodge features riverfront views with a deep water dock. Comfortably laid out with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a kitchen, living area, and gear room. Perfect for up to four guests. You will love the views right off your screened-in porch. A gas grill, fire pit, and picnic table make this lodge a perfect summer getaway for your family!

Cast a line and catch bass right from your dock. Bring the kayaks and explore the beautiful Salmon River Estuary right from your own back yard! Or, bring a larger boat to access Lake Ontario’s world renowned fishing and beaches. For boats, you can launch at pinegrove or the Salmon River lighthouse and motor up to the lodge. The docks is good for +/-22' boat or smaller. Rather keep your feet on solid ground? Take a leisurely hike along Douglaston Salmon Run’s private 2.5 miles of the Salmon River. Selkirk Shores and Sandy Island Beach State Park are just a short drive away or explore a plethora of state land in the back country of nearby Tug Hill.

Enjoy scenic views, fresh air, and the sounds of nature as you wind through the landscape and experience the beauty of the river firsthand. Whether you're an avid hiker, nature photographer, bird watcher, or simply looking to unwind, our trail provides the perfect outdoor escape.

Unlike many vacation rentals, our lodge includes a full-time housekeeping staff, so there's no need to spend your trip cleaning or worrying about checkout chores. Relax, enjoy your stay, and leave the work to us—giving you a truly hassle-free experience.

All linens and towels are included with the lodge, along with a full kitchen (coffee maker (K-cup style and drip), cookware, plates, utensils etc.).

Why they chose this property


The Barclay family opened Douglaston Salmon Run in 1987 as a private-water sports-fishery. The property has been in the family since 1807, when it was settled by Colonel Rufus Price, an Aide-de-Camp to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
