Enjoy the beauty of Lake Champlain in this spacious new-to-market property with lakefront access that is absolutely one of the finest on Lake Champlain. A large lawn slopes gently to the water's edge with 300' of direct and private waterfront. The lake views are expansive with incredible sunsets and westerly views of the Adirondack mountains.
The home features 3 levels of living space. The first floor has an open floor plan with hardwood floors. The kitchen features granite countertops and high end appliances. Enjoy meals in the dining room, breakfast area or on the screened in porch adjacent to the kitchen. The living room is comfortably furnished with large screen TV and gas fireplace. Wake to a beautiful lake view from the first floor Master Bedroom with King sized bed, private spa bath with soaking tub and large walk in closet.
The second floor has 3 additional private bedrooms all with King and Queen sized beds and two additional full bathrooms.
Additional sleeping area is located in the upstairs sitting area and in the lower level gameroom.
Enjoy an evening soak in the jacuzzi in the second screened in porch.
The property comes equipped with a dock to enjoy swimming, fishing or taking out one of our 3 kayaks to explore the lake. Gather with your family and friends for a game of cornhole, soccer, wiffleball, or lawn darts. Or just relax and take a nap in the quiet solitude of one of our hammocks.

There are plenty of things to do nearby but mostly you will just want to have fun enjoying the lake and the peaceful privacy of this property.

Important - We do require a phone conversation prior to every booking. I have found this helps both parties reduce the uncertainty of renting a new property. If you are interested please send an inquiry, and NOT a booking request so we have time to determine if the property is a good fit for your vacation purposes. Please do not book our property before a having conversation with us.

Winter Rentals - We do “winterize” the property beginning in late September. During the winter months, we do close down most of the outdoor activities. This includes dock removal, hot tub closure, kayaks, hammocks, and screened porch. Please inquire regarding availability of the above features for the months of October - May.

This property is exquisite! The hosts were very friendly and responsive! The house is amazing and the sunsets on the lake to be viewed off of the back deck are spectacular! Our trip was during the second week of October. The weather was perfect and the leaves were beautiful. The house easily accommodated 8 adults with room to spare for more! We're looking forward to a return trip!

Most relaxing vacation ever - excellent place to unplug and enjoy your family!

The hosts were so accommodating and easy to get in touch with for any questions we had. The location is amazing - we spent the week paddle-boarding, fishing, kayaking, playing badminton and volleyball. The restaurants that the hosts recommended were very good too.

Every aspect of this house and our stay was fantastic. The house was perfect. First floor master overlooking the lake was spectacular. Really enjoyed size of the yard and privacy from neighbors. The worst part was leaving!

The Champion of Champlain

We spent an awesome week on Grand Isle at the the beautiful and exceptionally well a-pointed home of our hosts. Every last detail was taken care of so all we had to was relax. Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend . The house is very well appointed and has fantastic views . This house had everything one would need in terms of cooking, pots, serving dishes , condiments , etc., which was very helpful as we made a thanksgiving dinner there. In addition, the house came very well supplied with linens, soaps, paper goods etc. we just needed to bring our food and enjoy! Beautiful house and area !!

Graduation Celebration

I was looking for a place to celebrate my son's graduation from UVM. We wanted a place away from the crowds of Burlington where we could enjoy and celebrate with family and friends. Hearing the loons from the hot tub, drinking morning coffee in the screened in porch, dining on the deck overlooking a meticulous yard and gorgeous lake made our stay so memorable. The house was very well equipped for a larger group. It exceeded my expectations. John and Kim were great to work with. I look forward to my next visit.

Winter Wonderland

We are very grateful to have our first experience in Vermont to be nothing short of amazing. It was so serene to watch the snow fall and experiencing the view of the lake. Fun times from sun up to amazing sunsets!

When I read the description on VRBO of this house I thought this sounds too good to be true. But the moment we got there and toured the house and property I knew we found the perfect house. The hosts thought of everything from a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and toiletries in the bathrooms. There was everything needed to entertain both the kids and adults at the lake. The views of the backyard included beautiful flowers, hummingbirds, a gorgeous lake view and the best sunsets we have ever seen. Overall property was great ,well stocked to meet all your needs. House nicely situated on lake with gorgeous views. Owners very responsive to any need. A little disappointed that house had only one working TV while listing stated two working TVs. Self disposal of trash required which was a surprise to us as we paid for cleaning, etc as part of rental. Should consider updating online listing

Perfect setting for family vacation

A gorgeous house with breath taking views of Lake Champlain, Adirondack mountains & sunsets. House had everything our family of 16 (10 adults & 6 children) needed; large dinner table for adults & small one for the kids, plenty of pots & pans, appliances, towels, bedding & outdoor seating to enjoy the incredible lake! We made use of the kayaks & did a ton of fishing (enough to enjoy a shore lunch one day). The hot tub was relaxing after a day of swimming in the lake (lake temp was around 78 degrees). The large yard was perfect for family activities & yard games. Close to the winery, convenience store, gas, farmers market (Wednesday & Saturday), and public boat landing. Overall a fabulous home & location! Owner was very responsive & helpful. Great service & hospitality! Highly recommend this property!

A dream vacation home!

A meticulously clean, well maintained, beautiful home with all the amenities provided. The grounds were beautiful and thus our family, ages 11 - 75 were able to play outdoor family games, some provided and some we brought. The beautiful deck, screened in porch, hot tub, extremely comfortable beds and linens, well equipped kitchen, everything it appears to be actually IS, PLUS MORE. The owner was more than accommodating, available and kind in every way. There is nothing to want for in this dream home. If you are lucky enough to find an available time, don't hesitate. You will not regret it. Did I mention the spacious living area? And the outdoor furniture? And the comfortable living room furniture and the spacious eating areas..........the kids loved finding all kinds of shells on the rocky beach, plus a couple of beautiful little rocks that I allowed them to keep. It is a beautiful family home accommodating someone doing school work, others playing ping pong, others socializing - it offers it all. AMEN! Thank you John and Kim.

Stunning house on the lake!

This house is gorgeous and everything you want it to be for a wonderful getaway! Our family of 3 rented this house to celebrate my husbands 50th and as soon as we pulled up to the property we saw the glorious sunset and ran to the back yard. It’s breathtaking. The house is clean, comfortable, large, has everything you would need, had gorgeous views of the lake from every room and was perfect! You can’t beat the view of the lake and you must watch the sunset each night! We played soccer in the large backyard, relaxed on the deck, played ping pong in the basement at night and enjoyed the quiet. John was such a pleasure to deal with. He is so accommodating, helpful and friendly. He even left a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator to celebrate my husbands birthday! Such a nice touch. We went in November during covid and we felt totally safe on the island. Everyone is respectful and careful. I wish more restaurants had been open, but considering what’s going on, we totally understood and it didn’t impact our stay. I would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed! I could go on and on about how wonderful it is, but I will let you discover all the magic for yourself.

Perfect for families; safe for little kids. Beautiful home.

Pros: Exceeded expectations. Beautiful and spacious. Easy to find privacy when desired but lots of get-together areas. Well equipped kitchen, second refrigerator for extras. Lots of cupboards. High-end appliances. Comfy beds. Nice linens. Lots of nice touches to the house; we all agreed that it rises well above the standard rental property. Lovely location, plenty of seating inside and out. Well maintained lawn. Loved the two kayaks. Safe and quiet location. Grandkids caught wide-mouth bass off the end of the dock. Our boat could tie-up to the dock so the kids could get on and off easily to go tubing or to go fishing. And the sunsets over the Adirondacks were amazing. This is such a special home that I hesitate to mention negative points, however, full disclosure: Cons: No bathroom in the downstairs sleeping area. (Potty runs upstairs in the middle of the night) Deck area had little shade from the mid-day sun. Could have benefited from an awning or a few umbrellas. While the property comes with a dock and we certainly made use of it, we could not tie our boat to it overnight as we had expected to do; this created the expense and inconvenience of a boat slip rental at local marina. BUT Lake Champlain is at a very low level now so I suspect that if the water level was normal (i.e. safer for boats tied to docks; less turbulence) then we could have made full use of the dock.

Christmas Vacation

Beautiful house with an amazing view

My friends and I had a great week at the house. The view of the lake is amazing, and the sunsets over it are breathtaking. The kitchen was well appointed for our group that loves to cook, and the house had a lot of games and things to do to keep us entertained. A great time all around, even in the winter. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful home. Great yard and views. Clean and inviting sleeping quarters with big beds for all adults and one awesome master bathtub and shower. Plenty of storage. The kitchen was beautiful with plenty of prep space and high end appliances. The communal areas were large and comfortable. Could not have asked for a better place to stay and I have rented many homes through VRBO. Definitely on my trip board for a future visit. The owner John was very responsive and very nice.
