Great location, beautiful house, easy to work with host. House was well stocked with kitchen, cleaning, laundry supplies, towels, etc. Host was very responsive!
Happy to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful remodeled home. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very high-end (down to the toiletries). The location was very tranquil and perfect for access to East Hampton and Sag Harbor. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with ample room for entertainment. Would definitely recommend.

Liked: Communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
The main issue is that when I arrived, while there were housekeepers there, there was clutter everywhere, even in the drawers it was impossible to feel like it was your vacation house. It was a very disorganized set up. A way to possibly improve. It is for the host to actually have a written up guide. And to perhaps clean her drawers so that there’s some sense of organization for her guest to follow. In addition, not enough places to really hang your clothes. Plus, no one could use the basement because she has not fixed the AC or heating so it was not advertised in the appropriate way. In addition, her oven was not working properly as it had not been cleaned out.

A written house manual is emailed to guests 1-2 days prior. This guest failed to read the manual - even after she was asked to do so over the phone - and didn't follow house rules, including having more people staying at the house than the allowed maximum of 6 adults. She bought air mattresses to try and sleep people in the basement which is not intended as sleeping quarters. Space heaters are provided - and noted in the house manual - for the basement which tends to stay in the 60s. But as a finished den with workout area, it's against certificate of occupancy for anyone to sleep there. The basement is not advertised as sleeping area in the listing. This house has reviews from 2024 by guests who stayed as long as 1 month without issues with drawers or hangers. As for the oven, she called after she set off the smoke alarm and had to be told smoke alarms will go off once she airs out the room. She didn't use over the oven fans which had to be pointed out to her over the phone - has never been an issue for people with any common sense. Then she complained about how expensive the house was - for July 4 week in the Hamptons?
The property was great and the location is perfect! The street is charming and the backyard is quiet/private. The owner is very responsive. Everything went really well. We can't wait to come back!
The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. This layout is perfect for family and friends. The decor is modern & updated. The property is great with a nice heated pool. Quick drive to anyplace you would want to go.
This is the second year in a row that we rented a home out in East Hampton to have an extended weekend with our adult sons and their significant others. This house was perfect for our group and had all of the amenities that were described on the VRBO website. The house was modern, clean and comfortable.
House was great - perfect for 4 adults and 2 young children. Bedrooms/bathrooms all recently renovated, kitchen / dining / living rooms had plenty of space and kitchen very well stocked. Pool and big outdoor seating area were great, perfect for swimming all day and cooking on grill and using fire pit at night. Owner very responsive, no concerns at all.
Mom friends & i wanted time take our boys away for a final summer hurrah. We were thrilled to find Kat’s property available & she made it possible for us to shorten our stay to 2 nights instead of required 3 night minimum. The house was lovely. The amenities as described. Certainly concerning having white couches and light colored floors with 3 boys but all was ok. Some of the kitchen appliances need a little maintenance but otherwise a great quick weekend. Thank you.
My family had a very pleasant stay at this property. It’s quiet, at the end of a culdesac and the kids could ride their bikes in the road infront of the property.
The house itself was pristine. Beautiful on the inside and out and had all the amenities my family needed to enjoy our stay. The pool and pool toys were great. The grill and outdoor patio were utilized almost every day. The kids even had s’mores at the outdoor fire pit.
We were slightly worried about sullying the white couches because of our young kids but other than that everything was fantastic.
Also a short drive to Sag Harbor, East Hampton and the cute little strip in Wainscott where you could pick up baked goods or breakfast. Centrally located which was great.
This property was a perfect respite during our required quarantine in New York prior to our son attending college in the state. It's bright, clean and spacious with an enormous family room with open, nearby kitchen. No clutter anywhere with a great, heated pool that provided hours of exercise and relaxation during our stay. Maids cleaned once and pool was cleaned twice during our two week stay. Owners were very attentive to our needs and questions when BBQ grill propane tank ran out of gas and when power outage occurred in area.
We would highly recommend this property.
Worse experience! Do not rent here! Owner is awful!
Bugs, tvs did not work when we got to the house. The house was a complete disaster! Owner used our lovely little harmless guinea pig as an excuse to ask us to leave so she could double the price on vrbo.
We had unpacked our bags and stayed here overnight. She gave us 8 hours to find another place to stay.
This owner should be taken off vrbo immediately!

She first lied and said she was not bringing pets. Then she lied and said the guinea pig was not theirs but a neighbor's. When I said the reservation would be canceled due to violation of house rule, she said "but I live on the Upper East Side and my daughter goes to private school." If you attempt to sneak in a pet without prior approval, your reservation will be canceled 100% of the time even if you "live on the Upper East Side."
The house was beautiful. There is a Sonos One with Alexa in the house for those Sonos lovers! Also a nespresso machine. These little things are very thoughtful additions during a weekend stay. We loved the lounge chairs by the pool which had pull out mini tables to put your drink, book or phone. This is a great place to spend a long weekend and we hope to be back soon.
