My husband and I stayed at the barn for the first two nights of our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a more magical experience to kick off our marriage! Not only is the barn absolutely beautiful at every turn, but the hosts are so kind! I loved getting to spend some time with their animals too. We live pretty close by and will definitely be coming back for mini getaways!

A MUST SEE - AMAZING - FANTASTIC
My cousins and I do a trip every year and we decided on Winston Salem - This Barn was just amazing - the pictures do not do it justice. In addition Laura and Mark are by far the best hosts. We felt like family - they treated us like family.

Incredible Visit
The barn is extraordinary and Laura and Mike were amazing hosts. They even set up a special table for us when we were at my daughter's graduation! It was so unique and relaxing. Close enough to HPU and WFU that we were able to see both our children with ease. What a retreat - no other was to explain it!
We were here for Wake Forest graduation. House was great to spread out in for our family. Plenty of private and group gathering spaces. Not far out of town. Enjoyed all the quirky decor and the animal family. Easy check in and stay.
The barn was amazing! Everything was so unique, different, perfect! The bedroom was super comfortable, and the common areas were so interesting that you’re entire vacation could be spent there just relaxing! Seeing the animals on the property was a bonus! Laura the owner was incredibly welcoming and sweet. We visited NC to see friends, and our favorite thing about our visit was the barn!
Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated barn with gracious hosts!
We traveled to the area for my daughter's college graduation weekend, and enjoyed staying at this property so much! The owners have lovingly restored a century-old barn with items collected over years of travels and curated with a great deal of care. The owners are warm and welcoming and even cooked us breakfast one morning during our stay! I highly recommend this property.
Our stay on this beautiful property was the most relaxing enjoyable experience. Laura & Michael are fabulous hosts. The property is so unique, the farm land around it relaxing and the hosts were welcoming to us & grandchildren. The kids loved the animals. We will definitely return to gem!

Extraordinary experience .... a treat for all!!!
Hi Laura,
Thanks so much for providing such an extraordinary experience for us all. We truly loved our time at the barn. We played cards and games - a wonderful throw back to when the kids were younger. And my 80 year old parents stayed with us Thursday and Friday were absolutely amazed . We all just love what you have created. Such a treat for all us all. We wish you a wonderful holiday. I will be sharing our incredible experience with friends and family and would love to rerun for another visit in the future
We had a great stay at Chinaberry Farm. The barn is such a treat! The owners went to great lengths to create a space that is welcoming, nostalgic and fun. We really enjoyed being around all of the animals! Coconut the llama, Pig Newton the potbellied pig, Paisley the donkey - they were a great form of entertainment. The barn was very clean and maybe a mile from grocery and gas stations. It is perfectly positioned between High Point and Winston Salem. The owners couldn't be nicer. They went out of their way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. We are already planning our trip back!

Very charming and unique vacation rental
This barn is gorgeous! Everywhere you turn there is something visually interesting that catches your eye. I loved kicking back in one (of the several) seating areas and marveling at the restoration of the old barn. The rooms are very cozy and each one has its own special characteristic such as a library, outdoor balcony or fun bunk beds. Not only is the barn fantastic, but you walk right outside and get to enjoy a variety of friendly farm animals. This property is close to downtown Winston-Salem and is a perfect alternative to your normal vacation rental.
