Our lovely appointed and fully stocked studio boasts one of the best locations at The Banyan and in Kihei. It has ocean and mountain views from the lanai and is just a 3 minute walk to the famous Kamaoli Beach Park II.

The small kitchenette has everything you need to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is stocked with a fridge, toaster/oven, hot plate, microwave and all the dishes, pots/pans and utensils needed for baking and/or cooking.
It sleeps 3 with a cal. king bed and an optional twin air bed. AC, TV, wifi, beach necessities, free calling across the US and Canada are all included.
The Maui Banyan grounds are beautifully landscaped with two pools and BBQ areas, covered parking, tennis court and tropical walking paths.
Instead of paying 3 or 4 times more for a resort hotel room, try out our studio-----it's much, much more than just a hotel room. It's part of the Stine Ohana Hale.

We enjoyed our stay at Barb's place. The location was in a walkable area, close to beaches, and parking was easy. The beach chairs and umbrella were great. The room itself reflects the photos, and is akin to a 3 star hotel.

Excellent location right across from Kam II. Space is as described. Nice to have beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and parking. Need to walk up/down stairs for parking. Wall unit a/c is a bit noisy but does the job. Also some noise from pool but quiet hours from 9pm on. Tiny little ants in unit. Well stocked unit and nice extras like snacks, drinks and paper towels. Overall enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Maui Banyan is a wonderful complex to be at and we try to stay there every time we go to Maui. The studio apartment was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a nice selection of island favourite snacks provided by the owner. There were a few minor issues as the front door and lanai sliding door were very difficult to open some times. As well the small fridge/freezer did not seem to keep things cold or frozen very well. As well the toaster oven was appreciated but the heating element didn't seem to work very well as we couldn't get it to toast bread.But overall these were relatively minor issues that did not take away from the time we spent in the unit.

Perfect size room for a couple. Nice amenities including Kona coffee and some small treats to hold you until you get to a store. Also loved having beach chairs and towels provided. The balcony was tiny, but it was nice to have access to the outside and there was an ocean view from there. Owner was quick to respond. Would come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Banyan property. The place is fully equipped so it's easy to cook yourself, but if you want to go out for food it's in a great location as well! Barbara was a great host and we definitely recommend staying here.

We and our 2 daughters love the Kam II beaches and are happy to share our studio with you. We have remodeled the studio and have provided extra comfortable furnishings for your pleasure. Our family has fallen in love with the views from the lanai and hope you do too. Our manager, Barb Botkin, pays attention to detail and will take good care of you. Enjoy our little slice of paradise.

Views from the lanai of Halealaka, the ocean and the gardens below as well as our complete remodel make our studio one of the most sought after units at The Banyan. It's on the top floor with easy access by elevator and is just steps away from the world famous Kam II beach. We stock everything you need for cooking basic meals or for playing at the beach. It sure beats an expensive hotel room overlooking a parking lot.
