Casa Carlotta is a 70 sqm nice 2 bedroom flat, fully restored in 2016, it enjoys two spacious terraces and a large and huge swimming pool! Its is located in the country side, only 6km from the city of Siracusa and only 8 min' driving distance to the sandy beach of Arenella. Car park inside the property. Casa Carlotta is made of a bright living room, nice kitchen that looks on the first terrace, a double bedroom, another bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 small bathrooms each one with shower, bidet, sink. Our guests can benefit from air-conditioning, washing machine and illimited wi fi connection.
Pool dimensions: 4m x 8m. depth 1,50m

during check-in the tourist tax is kindly requested in cash, and a deposit which will be returned ad check- out if there are no damage.

Property was really clean and had all the necessary cooking utensils. Stephanie was easy to contact and gave us good recommendations for eating out in siracusa and her choices never disappointed us. The property is in a really quiet location not far from siracusa nor arenella beach. Would highly recommend the property.

We have been coming to Sicily for a number of years and for 3 of the last 4 visits we have stayed at Vanessa’s lovely residence. Its location is perfect being 20 minutes outside Ortigia which is totally stunning. Amazing restaurants, bars & a great food market. The apartment itself is simple but it has everything you need. The pool is lovely and regularly cleaned. Vanessa & her lovely son Lorenzo could not be more helpful. Vanessa I am sure we will be back in 2027

Great value and location to Ortega

Great place for two couples. Only 10 minutes drive into Syracusa and Ortega. We enjoyed the private pool as well. We used this location as our base for 9 days in the south east and it was perfect. I would only suggest that the photos of the patio be updated as the couch seating was not there when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends who want to explore the southeast of Sicily.

The single-storey apartment suited us very well in its simplicity and peace. We were most grateful to find a cold supper and bottle of wine when we arrived in the evening. The large pool was just what we needed after mornings of sight-seeing. Proximity to Syracuse was ideal. Stephanie's greeting on arrival and advice in general added enormously to a perfect holiday!

We had a lovely time once we got there. You need a car to get to the location. The location is beautiful but you need to be aware that you have to drive for a baker, grocerystore etc. So your basic necessities. Stephanie helped us when we needed to find a nice restaurant, she booked a lovely table. We advice everybody to book this location and not hold back when you have a car

Strange design of the house

This was one of the most uncomfortable rentals we have done, The pool had no stairs to get into the pool. The bathrooms were triangular and very cramped. The small shower had no place to put soap or shampoo. The extra interior locked doors were strange and not necessary. The small kitchen table took up most of the kitchen. The location was on an unattractive small road. One direction out of the apartment was overrun with litter dumped by the side of the road. Stephanie, the property manager was great and helpful, but she couldn't overcome the short comings of this rental house.

Bon sejour mais des choses a revoir

Villa comme sur les photos sauf salon de jardin trois chaises dont 1 abîmé alors que nous somme 4 pas du tout la meme que sur les photos.Chambre adultes le lit fait beaucoup de bruit , mais le matelas et oreillers tres bien .Chambre enfant 1 lit avec des lattes de casser et un matelas a ressort qui es bon a changer nous avons prevenue mais malheureusement rien a etait fait ma fille a dû dormir avec nous pendant le sejour car trop mal au dos ! Un cadre de casser , un lustre de casser . La terrasse n'était pas tres propre des taches au sol collante .Et par contre pour les toilettes un gros probleme devoirs sessuyer et mettre dans la poubelle car nous navons pas le droit de mettre de dans c'était pas top surtout sous cette chaleur pas du tout hygiénique. La clim elle fonctionne que quand ont est au domicile quand ont s'en vas elle ne fonctionne plus !Pas une seule fois un nettoyage de piscine durant notre sejour nous somme rester 10 jours quand meme donc pas cool !!

Good afternoon, I'm very sorry for this negative comment because when you left you told me everything was perfect. Regarding the beds, unfortunately, you understand that mattress comfort is subjective. Unfortunately, you can't expect to go on vacation and find the exact same comfort as a mattress at home; that means you have to change the mattress for every guest. Regarding the pool, I won't allow such a thing to be said. All pools are cleaned and checked every morning; if it hadn't been cleaned for 10 days, you'd be swimming with frogs in it. This review smacks more of a spiteful one to me because I haven't replaced the single mattress. Kind regards.

Wir waren zu 2. insgesamt neun Nächte in dem Ferienhaus. Was wirklich wunderbar war, ist die Ruhe. Nur ein Hahn, der morgens kräht und Hunde in der Umgebung, die manchmal bellen. :-)Leider war die Terrasse nicht so ausgestattet, wie auf den Fotos hier zu sehen (keine Lounge Möbel und kein Patio) und schon teilweise etwas mitgenommen. Und es wäre nett, wenn vorher kurz Bescheid gesagt wird, dass die Eigentümer z. B. den Pool sauber machen. Wir waren schon überrascht, als jemand in dem Garten stand. Insgesamt ein wirklich tolles Haus für Erholung und Ruhe.

Wir haben hier die letzten 12 Tage unseren Sommerurlaub verbracht und fanden es sehr schön. Es war sehr modern und alles da was wir gebraucht haben. Der Pool wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und wir sind zufrieden. Außerdem gab's zur Begrüßung einen leckeren Nudelsalat und Tipps von Vanessa. Auch die Rückgabe hat reibungslos funktioniert. Kleines, aber feines Haus mit Pool, für Ausflüge sehr gut gelegen

Das Haus entspricht exakt den Fotos. Die Duschen sind nur ca. 65 x 65 cm groß. War für uns o.k. Die kleine Küche war unerwartet gut ausgestattet, nur für deutschen Filterkaffee muss man improvisieren. Aber schließlich ist man in Italien! Vanessa ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, vom Begrüßungssalat und -Wein über kurzfristige Hilfe am späteren Abend von ihrem Ehemann, weil wir uns versehentlich ausgesperrt hatten und auch sonst war sie immer ansprechbar. Sauberer Pool. Das Haus liegt zwar etwas abseits, dafür ist die Altstadt von Syrakus, der Strand von Arenella sowie über die SS 115 und autostrada viele touristische Highlights recht schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar. Très bonne location.

Nous avons voyagé en famille dans la région de Syracuse et nous avons pu bénéficier du calme et de la fraîcheur de la Casa Carlotta. Le logement est très propre, bien agencé et bien équipé. Location agréable grâce à la piscine

Points positifs : Piscine assez grande pour 4, propre même si elle dégage une forte odeur de chlore. Propriétaire disponible et réactif suite à quelques dysfonctionnements. Bon conseil pour resto parking … Vin et salade de pâte offert à l’arrivée. Endroit Calme et proche de Syracuse. Points négatifs : Impossible d’avoir de l’eau chaude tous les soirs car le ballon n’est pas assez dimensionné pour les 3 logements quand enfin nous en avions le débit était très faible. Nous n’avons pas apprécié la réponse du propriétaire nous disant que c’est la première fois qu’ils sont confrontés à cela et que le problème venait de nous, il aurait fallu se doucher à 30 min d’intervalle chacun sympa lorsque l’on rentre de la plage. Il faudrait revoir ce problème car cela gâche les vacances. Lenteur voir inexistence du wifi il faudrait le préciser dans l’annonce. Cuisine étroite avec une seule prise pas pratique. Un micro onde serait le bienvenu. Terrasse non ombragée car le système laisse passer le soleil. Pas de volet sur les baies vitrées ce qui fait augmenter la température du logement et gêne le matin car le soleil se lève très tôt. Je me suis permis de relever tous ces points car à 185 euros la nuit nous nous attendions à un logement un peu plus haut de gamme
