Had a fab two weeks in this cottage. Great location, central to loads of the best beaches on the north Cornish coast.
Very clean cottage, in a quiet area, and our dog loved it to.
Would happily recommend it to anyone looking to holiday in Cornwall, surfers, explorers or just those looking for a relaxing time.
We had an amazing 6 days in the cottage, it was in an ideal location for visiting the coast and very relaxing. We had everything we needed in the cottage and it was very cosy. The owner Tony was extremely helpful in the lead up to our stay. We will definitely want to stay again.
Great cottage in a local area that we were familiar with and really enjoy visiting.
We arrived really late of an evening and found the property hard to find, but once we were in, it had everything we needed. Close, but not walkable to local amenities, I would recommend to others!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was beautiful and quiet. The cottage had everything we needed and the information about the area supplied by the owner was very helpful. Will definitely book again
Ideal space for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Location is great, cottage equipped with everything you need for a week in Cornwall and Anthony replied to any questions very quickly.
A wonderful property in the perfect location for us. As a young family this cottage was ideal for us with a safe and spacious outdoor space for our exploring young ones. The living space was open plan and great for cooking and entertaining and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning to this cottage soon, thank you!
The cottage is in a great location and in easy reach of lots lovely places. We have stayed in this area before and were keen to return. This property did not disappoint. Our children loved the outdoor space.
We would definitely return to this cottage again.
The contact from the owner (Anthony) before arrival was superb. He provided details on best route, travel time, local beaches, tide times etc. Couldn’t have asked for more.
The cottage is in a great location, so close to Rock and Polzeath yet nicely tucked away. It contains everything you could want or need. The back garden is particularly good for a quiet and private drink in the sun at the end of the day. If mixing with the neighbours is your preference, however, the big open space out front is ideal. Shower good, beds comfortable, living area cosy.
Minor detail but the area with the dog bed smells of er, well... dog. If you’re a dog owner you probably won’t notice but we’re not. Anthony makes it plain, no dogs upstairs or on the furniture. Well done 👍
Ultimately the test of any holiday accommodation is - would you come back?
Absolutely YES
.. and Thanks to Anthony 👏

Good stay cottage was clean and had everything we needed.
We got out and about despite the weather not being good all week. Highlights were cycling the Camel Trail, The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Helical, Lanhydrock and St Ives.

Lovely, well equipped house in a great setting.
We had a great week, the perfect base to explore as much, or as little, of Cornwall as you would like to. Fantastic beach only a couple of miles away in Rock.
The house is really well equipped to a high standard with everything we needed.

About the host
Hosted by Mr Anthony Hall
We have been coming to North Cornwall for the past 14 years and have spent many a happy time with our family in and around the Rock/Polzeath Area. We have a dog called Poppy who loves to come with us and enjoy the lovely long cliff top and beach walks. We all enjoy sailing and surfing so this is an ideal location for us all. We originally started off making sandcastles on the beach with our young family and friends. Now they have grown up, they bring their friends and still enjoy all the that the area has to offer.
Why they chose this property
After having many a happy time in this area we decided we wanted to have a permanent place to come to. It is a short drive to all the activities we enjoy and there is also the ruggedness and natural wildness that Cornwall is known for. We like that you can be with people if you want to be or find a quiet peaceful place if you don't.
What makes this property unique
For us it is that you have sailing, surfing, shops, beaches all within 4 miles of the property. We also like that we have a large communal area for children to play in while parents can relax with a cup of tea or glass of wine on the seating provided or watch from inside the cottages knowing they are safe.
