A real gem

We had a wonderful stay at Bodmin Hill The property is very well decorated, homely and extremely well equipped. We had plenty of comfortable space for 2 adults and 4 children. Lostwithiel is a lovely village, we loved our evenings at the river. Anita is a fab host - she listened to our needs and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable house in great location

Lovely property, very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It felt like a lived-in family home which was nice. Three lovely big bedrooms upstairs, one with large ensuite - much nicer than the photos depict. Lostwithiel was perfect, not crowded (unlike the popular hot-spots) with all amenities and a really interesting history. Recommend the river walk and Watergate Bay near Newquay for body boarding. The curry house and fish and chip shop were great! Definitely recommend this house and the location.

Why they chose this property

We moved to Lostwithiel from London in 2006. We just love the historic town which has a beautiful river running through it. Great for kids to play in and you can relax by the river. It has a direct train link from London and stops in lostwithiel every hour. You will have so much fun.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is walking distance. The town has 5 really great pubs and local entertainment
