Beautiful cottage in a great location. The gardens are lovely and very secure for dogs. Easy access to beaches and other local attractions as well as village shop and pub.
A wonderful stay in this part of Cornwall. Property was lovely and we had the comfort of the garden being totally enclosed for our two dogs. A great Pub within a 2 minute walk and location was perfect for nearby Polperro, Mevigissey, Fowey, Charlestown etc
Cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. The owners were friendly and accommodating. It is cosy and picturesque and beautiful gardens that we all enjoyed.

Thankyou for your very flattering review of your stay at Brookside. We look forward to meeting you here again.
Our stay at Brookside was only short but definitely sweet. Lovely house. Everything you need and Geoff and Jeanette were great hosts. Good communication and there if you needed anything.
Great location. Peaceful but with easy access to beaches, walks and sites of interest. Lovely cottage and garden with everything we needed. Very grateful for the welcome pack. Would like to stay here again.
Fantastic cottage - spacious, light, warm and has everything we needed for a great holiday. The kitchen had a rangemaster which was really nice to use, and the large family room (dining room/lounge) was a really lovely space. There are enclosed front and rear gardens which was perfect for the dog, and nice walks/runs right from the door. We met the hosts a few times and they were lovely and helpful. Would love to come back
We had a wonderful week at Brookside cottage. It was comfortable and peaceful and the garden was very beautiful. Having the Polgooth Inn a short walk away was an added bonus too! Perfect location for the Eden Project and exploring the local area. Our hosts, Geoff Jeanette were very welcoming.
We enjoyed our two week stay at Brookside, a peaceful place with a beautiful green closed garden, a nice house with a large kitchen, a nice design of the interior and enough space for 5 people. From here we started our visits to the next beaches and gardens. Dear friendly and helpful hosts, thank you!

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Brookside and look forward to welcoming you all back here in the future.
Were all really impressed with the property, rooms much more spacious than the photos suggested, and exceptionally clean. Very good location with many activities and tourist attractions within easy reach. Geoff's communication with us was great, as well as both he and his wife Jeannette being friendly neighbours on hand if needed. We will definitely be looking to book with them again when next visiting Cornwall.
The cottage is even better than the description and pictures on the site - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Geoff ad Jeannette are fantastic hosts with excellent communication throughout the whole process. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be returning. Also the welcome pack was great - really lovely after a long journey - thank you!
We genuinely cannot recommend this cottage enough. It is a beautiful property, with stunning gardens. The house was spotless and had everything you could need. It's much bigger in real life than it seems in the photos and felt very spacious for four of us. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We are so grateful to have found this property last minute - it really is a gem. Absolutely will be coming back!!!!

Nice house, plenty of space..lovely, quiet garden. Helpfull house owners.
Great that there is both a washing machine and dryer. We only weren't used to plastic covers to protect the duvet, under the cover.

Thankyou for your review which is greatly appreciated.
We retained the duvet protectors which were brought into use during Covid but will now reconsider their future use.
We look forward to seeing you here again.
Geoff and Jeanette are warm hosts who go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable and idyllic stay. Cottage is outstanding - I was immaculate and beautiful. The garden is magical. Pub 200 yards away and a cute small holding adjacent. Tranquil and private setting. We took our dog and the stair gate they installed helped. We had a wonderful stay.
We will definitely be back.
Thank you.
We cannot fault this cottage and the hosts.
The cottage itself was immaculate when we arrived, you would not know there had been previous guests there that morning.
The welcome pack was very generous and well received.
The cottage and gardens were beautiful and in a lovely, peaceful location.
The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly, even getting our washing off the line for us while we were out which we were very grateful for when it started raining!
The cottage was lovely and spacious with everything we needed.
We would 100% recommend and would love to go back soon.

Thanks for your review of your stay. Your comments are very much appreciated!
Beautiful comfortable, extremely clean well equipped cottage. The garden is delightful and safe for dogs. Good spot for exploring this part of Cornwall with a great pub close by. Jeanette was very friendly and welcoming and we certainly hope to return sometime in the next 12 months.
Beautiful location and cottage near to amenities, including great pub at the bottom of the lane. What made it especially good was there was everything you could ever need at the cottage and the owners were always on hand if you needed them.
Cottage delightful and owners/managers more than helpful.
Good place to tour mid/west Cornwall and plenty of facilities around.
