Our bright tastefully decorated cottage is situated in the Village of Ballater, Royal Deeside within the Cairngorm National Park. We are in walking distance of Restaurant's, Pubs and Golf Course. With an abundance of outdoor sport on the doorstep, and two ski resorts 30mins drive away.Fairdene is a lovely recently converted cottage in the heart of the Cairngorms National park. An extra fold out bed be supplied for a child. Tea and Coffee is supplied. The cottage is perfect for two with an outside sitting area for summer daysBallater is a Fantastic village with something always going on especially in the summer with Victoria week and the highland games in August it is well situated to visit other surrounding highland areas and has The Queens residence Balmoral Castle just 10mins along the road. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance and a stunning golf course right on the river banks.The cottage has off street parking and is 5 mins to the bus stop with regular bus routes to Aberdeen and Blairgowrie.

We had a very enjoyable time in Ballater. The cottage is perfect. Very clean, modern and comfy. Lovely private garden area aswell. About 5 minutes walk to centre of Ballater.

It is indeed a cozy little cottage will everything you need!

The cottage is detached from the main house and offers privacy. There is a separate sleeping and eating area. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with mini-fridge. It is located within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping in town and many are attractions are within easy driving distance! Lisa was very helpful and friendly, offering recommendations for dining and sightseeing in the area. We highly recommend this accommodation when you come to visit this part of Scotland!

The cottage was a tiny home, cute, cosy, warm & pretty. It had many lovely touches inside. It was old and had been done up and was very clean and fresh. Kitchen had oven and stove top and all accessories. Bathroom the same. Bedroom was lovely. Just room to put case. Bed comfortable. Heating throughout. Windows were pretty. Host had been away and arrived back on our stay and very helpful about walks and things to do. Outside area but too cold!
