Real Alaskan Riverfront Log home

Spacious 3500 square foot 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath Log home was hand built by the owner from logs harvested in the immediate area.

Live like an Alaskan while you vacation with all the comforts of home. The home features a large fully equipped kitchen, huge living room with vaulted ceiling and a stone fireplace plus a wonderful view of Trail River and the surrounding mountains out the windows. Satellite TV, DVD player as well as WI-FI.

The three bedrooms each have an en-suite private bath. The home can sleep up to 9.

Sit on the porch and enjoy your morning coffee or prepare a meal on the grill. In the evening start a fire in the fire pit located a few feet from the river and recap your adventures of the day. Bring your pole and fish right from the yard. Covered carport so you won't get wet coming or going if it happens to rain.

Situated smack dab in the middle of all the action. 5 minutes from Moose Pass, 20 minutes to Seward and Resurrection Bay, 30 minutes from Cooper Landing and the world class fisheries on the Kenai and Russian Rivers, 45 minutes from the historic mining town of Hope. 1 1/2 hour from Anchorage and Soldotna/Kenai.

Great base location for our family of 9 in Alaska. Enough room for us and easy to get to all of our activities. Todd is an accommodating and friendly host. Kitchen was great for group cooking and the setting was beautiful. We had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin (and location) was very beautiful and we greatly enjoyed the big open space of the main room. Given that it was raining during most of our visit, the large entry way was fabulous for dropping off our gear before entering into the main part of the house. The cabin was ideally located for us and a quick drive to Seward and to other activities. Todd was a great host and we enjoyed meeting him.

What a terrific experience staying in this beautiful log home. It is super spacious with room for a larger group to spread out. The grounds are well kept—we didn’t have a chance to use the firepit but it was very tempting! The guys fished right from the property. The only thing i would say in “warning” is that you probably want to bring lots of bottled water as the piped in water has a rust smell/taste. And plan ahead for a large grocery run in Seward or Soldotna depending on where you’re coming in from. Would definitely stay again!

This house was such a delightful place to stay in while traveling to Seward. The host was very friendly & helped answer any questions we had. We enjoyed the roomy layout of the house. The backyard was great to relax in while enjoying the gorgeous view of the river & mountainside. One of us was lucky to see a moose across the river in the middle of the night. And a few of us got to see a bald eagle resting on one of the tall trees. Nearby Moose Pass is a quaint town to get an evening ice cream or fudge to satisfy a sweet tooth. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family dinners, and the grill came in handy too. Would love to come back again someday!!

This house is simply amazing. Todd was wonderful to work with, and the property was everything shown in the pictures, and then some.The views of the river from the primary bedroom and front porch were absolutely breathtaking. The house was beautifully appointed, and we had everything we needed for our five-day stay. Our group included a family of four and two grandparents, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out while still being able to gather in the main living room to watch the World Cup games together.There honestly isn’t anything we would have changed. It was the perfect home base for exploring the Seward and Moose Pass area. We even caught trout right from the riverbank one day, which made our 14-year-old son very happy!We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Wonderful cabin!

We very much enjoyed our time at this cabin! Our family of 7 had plenty of space for all our stuff. The outside space is lovely and has a great view. Todd was very easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again if we were ever in the area.

Crown point stay
