We had an excellent vacation at this property. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect! We had a couple of glitches but they were solved very quick. We all really enjoyed our stay and would do it again. Thank you

This is the second time we have stayed in this home.
What a great setting!
Easy access to the lake with a boat dock. Great place for fishing or kayaking.
The owner is very friendly and addressed any need we had in a timely manner.
Thanks again for a lovely place to spend with family!
This home is so beautiful and spacious, just as pictured in the photos. The beds were comfortable and the fire pit by the lake was a wonderful place for us all to gather after hiking and mountain biking. The kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed a birthday tea party in the gazebo. We hope to return some day!

Had a great time at Nelson Lake!
We really enjoyed our time at Nelson Lake, the house was beautiful and suited the needs of our multigenerational family perfectly. We brought our boat and kayaks and had a great time on the water as well as relaxing by the campfire. There was plenty of space to be together and also to spend time alone. Thank you so much!

Yes! With 400' of lakeshore and 5 bedrooms there is room for everyone to enjoy the awesome setting on our private point!
The home and property was everything our family could have asked for. Three generations spent a week enjoying this beautiful home and location on Nelson Lake. Whether you are on the deck, the terrace, in the gazebo, the kitchen, dining room or living room the lake views are spectacular. The home is spacious and had everything we needed to settle in for a relaxing week. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and boating from the pier along with nightly bonfires in the fire pit.

Check the calendar for next year!
Everyone who has been there this summer has already booked for next year!
I hope you can find something that will work!
The fall and holidays are wonderful too!
God Bless! Sande
The house, property, and location on the lake was great. The only downfall was that the house was not cleaned well at all. There were crumbs, hair, and dust throughout the house. We had to spend a few hours of our time to clean ourselves.

Hi Todd, I am so sorry about this report! Our normal cleaning people were on vacation for 1 week and it is unfortunate that you experienced the result! We have never gotten any reviews less than 5 stars. I am happy you will be returning next year!
Enjoy this lovely Day, Sande
My family and I really enjoyed this lake hone. Super spacious and functional. Lots of room to spread out which is important if you have a larger group. The yard is also very family friendly as it’s well maintained and mostly level which is great for the kids to play on. Nice strong dock to fish off of or tie a boat to. Really nice fire pit which we really wish we would have used but didn’t. We have rented several cabins over the years and this is one of the nicer ones we’ve stayed at.

Outstanding Property
We have rented this lake home both last summer and this winter and both have been equally wonderful. So much space for our entire family, huge yard to play yard games. Our favorite in the summer was the gazebo. Loved sitting out there playing games and doing puzzles. We have been renting cabins every year for 8 years, usually trying a new place every year. This one is so remarkable we are booked again for summer 2017. A few improvements would be garbage service. There is no garbage service at this property, and Wi-Fi is always an added bonus which this also doesn't offer.

The garbage is disposed of by the cleaning people at the end of each week.

One of the best locations on Nelson Lake. Beautiful house and enjoyed the screened gazebo. The lake was clean and nice shallow sandy area for the little one. Nice pier but the water too shallow for us to be able to dock our large boat. Fortunately, the boat launch is nearby. The location is also close to get to the atv trails. Parking good as we had both a boat and atv. The house was supplied with everything that we needed. It was a bit difficult getting in touch with the property manager as we had poor cell reception with our service and she was out of town which she did make us aware of. She was most helpful before our arrival. Upon our arrival there was a musty smell in the house. It aggravated those of us with allergies. After running dehumidifier and air conditioning it cleared up. Would be absolutely perfect if the carpeting would either be replaced or deep cleaned and the mattresses on the main floor in dire need of replacement. Still, we had a wonderful time.
We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home! We have additional family on this lake, so it was awesome to find a home to rent on the same lake, that would accommodate us. It was a bit of a family reunion, and over the week we ranged in age from 3-78! The house accommodated us all! Nestled on a beautiful lot, the home is right on the water. The large kitchen and great deck allowed us to grill and enjoy meals together. We enjoyed the spacious lawn, playing outdoor games, watching the Olympics, playing many card games, and just being together in a very comfortable atmosphere. Our kids and grandkids love to waterski, wakeboard, tube, swim, etc., so a big portion of our week was spent on the water. Some also fished and enjoyed some success with that! :) We mostly ate at the house, but enjoyed the "real bakery" in town for some morning treats, and the trip down Main Street was a fun one. The coffee shop and grocery options are quite good. We had a couple of issues throughout our stay and the host was responsive in getting those sorted out. The outdoor gazebo was a wonderful spot to enjoy the outdoors and avoid the bugs! lol There are several beautiful arrangements and art pieces in the home, some of which we gently put in a closet for the week so that they were not a temptation to the little ones! We would definitely come back if the opportunity arises!
Terrific get away in a beautiful home and beautiful location
We had a wonderful two week stay. We hosted doctoral students from 4 states the first weekend. Then we had brothers and in-laws for a few days followed by adult grandchildren. Everyone appreciated having a spacious and scenic location to gather.
We enjoyed staying here. The gazebo was our favorite spot to hang out any time of the day. Very peaceful.
My suggestion for the main level of house is to remove some of the chandeliers and replace with ceiling fans. It was a hot week up there and the AC was running non stop…hard to keep this level cool. Especially at night for sleeping. Ceiling fans would help tremendously to circulate the air. The master bedroom upstairs should have some type of window coverings by bed and sink area. Sun comes up at 5:00am and it’s shining right in the bedroom.
All in all we enjoyed ourselves sooooo much!!!! Wendy S.
This vacation home is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. We chose this home for our annual fishing and relaxing trip for three senior couples. We found everything to be very clean and the furnishing to be vey comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious as were the bathrooms. We had lots of room on the decks for our coolers and fishing equiptment. The large gazebo was a great place to at, relax and enjoy the colorful sunsets and scenery. The neighbors and caretaker were all friendly and helpful. The large yard was great for parking our vehicles and trailers. The fishing on Nelson Lake and off of the dock was great. Thank You for a wonderful vacation.
Perfect house for a large group that wants to be together but also needs some space. The outdoor dining was phenomenal as well as the layout of the house. Would love to come again and enjoy a fire in the fireplace on crisp fall days

Please come again! Fall and winter with some of our favorite times of theire
The home provided lots of options for the family for gathering. We loved the gazebo for meals. The little restaurant across the road had good pizza, the owners were fun. We also rented a pontoon went to where the sand bar is and had a nice lunch near there on the water.
We were looking for a quiet spot to have the whole family come stay if even for a couple days. All 3 of my boys and GF’s / one wife all got to enjoy this place during our weeks stay. Amazing location, large fire area, and the GAZEBO! Everyone agreed that this place was AWESOME!
We had a group of 8 for a fishing and golf trip. The home is absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your home.
Definitely beautiful spacious property for family gatherings with special decoration touches. The Gazebo is a bonus for an outside gathering area.
Couple of things to note, there is a resort across the street which caught us by surprise to hear out door music in the evening.
Also garbage cans are small and if filled up expectation is to take garbage to the local dump. Be mindful it does costs $6 per container (we had 2)
The dock area is well kept and nice sandy Beach area.
We absolutely loved staying at the house. We had little children with us that love splashing in the water by the dock. We could not have asked for more enjoyable stay.
