We have just had such a lovely stay at Pear Tree Cottage, spotlessly clean, comfy beds and ideally situated for our trip to York On arrival there was a very thoughtful welcome hamper which was very much appreciated. We used the park and ride and also took the car into York. My only suggestion would be fans for the upstairs bedroom as it did get very warm but I can't fault our stay and would love to return.

The owners very friendly and the welcome afternoon tea was excellent. The village had excellent local store and the place was a good starting point for visiting places.
