Break

The place is amazing and views spectacular- lots of space for 8 adults. Each room was comfortable with adjoining bathrooms or ones close by.The upstairs room with a fireplace was relaxing as you took in the scenery in front of you.Easy walk to the local pub - which was also friendly and welcoming.Outside areas are lovely with lots of different areas to just sit and enjoy the place.

The property itself is large and full of character, however it was freezing cold when we arrived and took most of our vacation to get it warm. The host was completely unhelpful, to the point of effectively saying they did not believe us saying it was cold.If I had known the host was Sykes Cottages I would not have booked it as I have had nothing but bad experiences with them. Also the directions to the property left a lot to be desired. All in all a frustrating experience saved only by the wonderful weather and the surrounding countryside.
