Week in keswick
Renting the property was straight forward, clear information and instructions on parking, key box etc. The cottage was spacious, reasonably equipped and comfortable. It's in an excellent location on the edge of town, only a two minutes walk from the shops. Has its own private parking which is good. The only complaint is that it was not clean. There was dog hair on the sofa and rug in the lounge, the plates and cups were dirty and we found an ants nest in the passageway wall on our last day. If I'd seen these earlier I would have been complaining to the owner again. My wife would not have stayed had she seen these.. The owner did offer to send the cleaner in again but we did it ourselves, shouldn't have had to though, it should have been spotless. Overall we still enjoyed our stay, weather was great shame about the cleanliness issues.
