A stunning, bespoke, luxury, apartment with fabulous sea views, parking & own enclosed garden. Located in a pretty & quiet area of Carbis Bay just a few minutes walk from the white sands of Carbis Bay beach, it provides special escape for couples & smaller families. Whether you are looking to relax on the beach or an energetic mix adventure there is something here for you!

Internally this ground floor property features include a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. A bespoke wet room and a beautiful bedroom with sea views.

Externally there is the benefit of a parking space and a wonderful garden and private outside space with magical views across to St Ives Bay.


Local Facilities: The nearest supermarket is a Tesco which is less than a 5 minute drive off the main A3074 road in to St Ives. There are also banks, hairdressers, a chemist, a post office newsagents and general stores all a short walk away. During the day when on the beach there is a cafe, shop and food outlet.

Attractions: A great location for couples and smaller families. Carbis Bay really does give you the best of both worlds. The peace and quiet of Fernhill yet only short distance away from the vibrant town of St Ives.

Further a field Penzance, St Michael's Mount, Lands End, beautiful Sennen Cove (surfing), Padstow (cooking courses with Rick Stein), Port Isaac (filming of TV show Doc Martin), Newquay (indoor Water World), & St Austell (Eden Project) are all within easy reach either by Car or Train.

The most beautiful beach stay

What a fabulous place to stay. Clean, well stocked and comfortable . Carbis bay is beautiful. Some stunning beaches in surrounding areas. Lovely to wake up to a sunrise over the bay, perfect place and something for everyone,

Beautiful Apartment

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Carbis Bay. The property is extremely homely, has everything you need for a comfortable stay and to top it all off has amazing views. The communication from Lucy was great. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great apartment with fantastic view

Fernhill is a lovely apartment with everything you need for a great stay in Carbis Bay. Ideal as a base to visit all of the great places Cornwall has to offer with bus and rail transport really handy. A path takes you to the lovely Carbis Bay beach and it’s a 40 minute scenic walk in to St. Ives. We loved our stay.

Beautiful View from a Beautiful Home

It really was a perfect stay! The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and is so pretty. But the best part is the view of Carbis Bay from your bedroom window and deck. We ate breakfast on the deck every day while enjoying the picture-perfect view. The host is responsive and friendly in all communications. Highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely property with excellent facilities. Stunning views in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of St. Ives. Only a short 20 minute walk from the town. Lovely garden with plenty of seating area's. Saw stunning sunrise each morning overlooking the bay. Suutable for a family or a couple looking for a peaceful escape from the stress of the City life.

Comfortable and Private Apartment

Seaside apartment is a wonderful, cozy apartment situated just off the main road. The view from the deck of Carbis Bay is fabulous! The apartment has all your needs, and there is a nice downhill path to the beach. There is also a Tesco within walking distance and multiple bus stops along the way. The bed was very comfortable and the area is quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely visit again!

We were lucky to have awarm sunny week which enabled us to make the most of the garden We were lucky enough to have a warm,sunny week enabling us to make the most of the garden. The garden belonging to this property is the largest and most private and has the sun from dawn to dusk.

Views for days!

We love this apartment so much! It was tastefully and completely outfitted with everything you could need. It was very comfortable for us two. And we just could not get enough of the view over the bay! Truly it was our favorite part of each day to sit on the private deck with a good meal and a glass of wine to watch the sun go by. A little bit outside of St. Ives made for a much quieter, more peaceful stay while St. Ives was only a short walk or bus ride away. We loved having the train station just down the hill as well. We would highly recommend Lucy's apartment for a vacation to the area.

Nice, quiet, relaxing stay

A nice, quiet, ground floor apartment which was ideal for a relaxing stay near St Ives. A short walk from the railway station and bus stop for St Ives itself (don't take the car in!) Tesco also very close by. The bed was not as comfortable as we would've liked and there is a bit of a drop from the balcony to the grass but everything else was perfect for a quiet relaxing time. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a good sized TV with DVD player, CD player and smaller TV in the bedroom. There is also a wallet containing local details which is well worth a read on arrival to orientate to the apartment and local area. All well thought out and helpful. This all helped to make it a bit home from home and with the lovely view of Carbis Bay was great for a break. We would recommend this apartment for a couple in particular.

Unvergesslicher Blick auf Carbis Bay

Bezaubernde kleine Ferienwohnung mit zwei Terrassen und fantastischem Blick auf die Bucht. Ideal für 2 Personen, die gut in einem 1,40m breiten Bett schlafen können (andernfalls gibt es noch ein Ausziehsofa mit Futonmatratze). Auch das Bad ist schick, aber bei durchgehenden Fußbodenfliesen verteilt sich das Wasser beim Duschen stark (etwas mehr Gefälle zum Abfluss wäre hilfreich). Parkplätze sind vorhanden, sind aber extrem eng und benötigen hohe Einparkkunst. Ruhig gelegen, aber trotzdem nah zum Strand (der Weg dorthin ist ein botanisches Erlebnis), zum wunderschönen Coast Pathway, zur Bahnstation (3 Minuten Fahrt nach St. Ives), Einkaufsmglichkeiten und Pub/ Inn im Ort (Gannett Inn).

Traumhafte Lage an der schönsten Bucht in Cornwall

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Fernhill Apartment sehr genossen. Die Lage und der Blick auf die Bucht von Carbis sind traumhaft schön. Darüber hinaus ist das Apartment ganz in der Nähe des Coast Path. In ca. 25 Minuten kann man entlang des schönen Pfades in den Künstlerort St Ives laufen. In Carbis Bay selbst gibt es einen Tesco Supermarkt (ca. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß) und einige Restaurants (besonders empfehlenswert ist das Gannett Inn). In der Wohnung haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Sie war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Beautiful Cornish Property

This property was exactly as advertised. Charming & clean with all day-to-day house requirements available as well as outdoor tables & seating. The gardens were kept beautifully and the view of St. Ives Bay was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled away from a nearby road there was complete peace & quiet - the perfect way to wind down and relax. The owner was very friendly & helpful and available if we needed anything. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone seeking a rejuvenating & peaceful break from their busy lives. I hope to return there one day myself! We were 100% satisfied with the property and sad to leave.

Lovely, well maintained property in a superb location, views from the apartment. Just a 5 minute walk down hill to Carbris Bay (a little longer walking back and up!). Excellent communication with owner throughout. Would recommend. Sofa bed a little too small for my 9 and 11 year old, so something to consider if you need to if you have bigger children. Many thanks
