Great house in great location

We has a great time in Prats du Perigord. Travelling with two families, the house is very spacious and well equipped. Very nice and quiet area with nice sights withon short driving distance. Also great for cycling and walking.

Large typically French property that can easily accommodate 8-10 people. Villa in beautiful surroundings with different areas in which to chill. Best booked if you don’t want to travel far, though driving was very easy and enjoyable on mainly quiet roads. Within easy reach of the larger villages. Down-sides: no facilities in the village so prepare by shopping before arriving, and the pool is not within the grounds but a 10-15 minutes walk away (I think the write-up is misleading). Overall, we had a great stay with the hosts being very helpful, within the limits of our little-speaking-French group, but we managed OK.

Beautiful spot

This is a beautiful old house with plenty of space for a large family to eat together. The views are wonderful with deer and rabbits walking below the house. It is in a part of France with much to offer in terms of activities like cycling, canoeing, eating and just admiring the beautiful villages. The swimming pool is a short walk from the house with plenty of sun loungers, table tennis, table football and badminton to play. Bed linen and towels need to be hired or bring your own and there is a large deposit to be paid in cash (seems standard in France but good to know in advance).

Large family spacious villa

We visited prats du perigord with family and all stayed in the same villa. It was very spacious however a little dated with the decor. The terraces and views were beautiful and a great base to explore the surrounding region. A car is necessary and the nearest place for shopping/food/restaurants is 6-8 miles away. We had a nice holiday and enjoyed the shared pool area. You need to be aware the house is on an incline for those who have difficulty walking to get to and from the pool area. The only real negative was the beds - whilst big enough we all found a little uncomfortable for sleeping. The property managers were both very friendly and easily contacted to greet us on arrival.

Gorgeous house- in a quiet rural area. The shared pool (shared with a few other houses) is large and we only had one other family use it whilst we were there. It is a little walk from the house but down the hill so on a hot day we chose to drive and park the car under the trees. The house itself is lovely- could sleep minimum of 10 if you used the open plan bedroom upstairs. All other bedrooms are on one level (just one step) so good for access. The advert said English was spoken but this was not the case. We managed to communicate with the very friendly hosts in our poor French :) Everything of interest is about 20-30 minutes away. Highlights were canoeing near Siorac-en-Périgord, quad biking and visiting La Roque Gageac/ Beynac/ Domme. Lovely stay- thank you.

Michel Marie Claire could not have been more welcoming or attentive. Perfect location for a peaceful family holiday. The ping pong table provided hours of entertainment too!——Michel Marie Claire n'aurait pas pu être plus accueillant et attentionné. L'endroit idéal pour des vacances paisibles en famille. le gite était idéalement situé avec une vue magnifique sur le village de Prats du Périgord . Le gite est très confortable, l'équipement complet , la terrasse très agréable . Logement magnifique, bien équipé. Temps superbe. Dommage qu'il soit compliqué de trouver de quoi faire les courses a moins de 40 km et de trouver du pain. Sinon parfait.

Wij hebben genoten van onze week in de Dordogne! Het week is heel groot, netjes en de overkapping is ideaal, zodat je altijd buiten kunt zitten. De eigenaar is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Ze zijn druk bezig om alles buiten ook helemaal in orde te maken. Alles is aanwezig en het zwembad is ook mooi! De omgeving is fantastisch. Enige nadeel is dat je overal wel een stukje voor moet rijden. Voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans votre maison .Elle est spacieuse et bien équipée avec une très belle vue depuis la terrasse. La communication avec nos hôtes a été très facile.Nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine située un peu loin du gite. Elle est grande et bien entretenue.De nombreux chemins de randonnée passent non loin de la maison et les grands sites touristiques sont à moins de 30 mn en voiture.

Gîte très confortable en tous points (surface, literie, mobilier, électroménager...), idéalement placé pour rayonner en Périgord. Contact et accueil au top. Cerises sur le gâteau, la piscine partagée est de bonne taille et très bien entretenue comme l'ensemble des espaces (parc, étang de pêche, ...), les terrasses du gîte sont bien aménagées.
