This single storey cottage converted from a barn is situated near the Devon town of Colyton and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

The Shippen is a single-storey cottage converted from a barn on a traditional Devon farm near the little town of Colyton. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, a double and twin, with a family bathroom. On the same level is an open plan living space with seating area with wood burning stove, dining area, kitchen and door to a patio.The adjacent scullery houses washing machine and tumble drier. Outside is also a big shared lawn with barbecue and a games barn. Four miles from Colyton, The Shippen is a welcoming cottage for a fabulous Devon break. 2 Dogs accepted fee charged for second. Please note: the property accepts a 3 night minimum duration of stay. Note: Bookings of only 7 nights from Saturday - Saturday are accepted at The Shippen during the peak season, this is from the 18th July 2026 - 22nd August 2026 inclusive and 17th July 2027 - 21st August 2027 inclusive.

Amenities: Central heating with wood burning stove. Microwave, fridge- freezer, dishwasher, TV with DVD, WiFi. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for two cars. Barbecue. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry no smoking. Note: This property has a minimum stay of 3 nights.
