If you're looking to stay somewhere near Florence this is the place. Giovanni and his family couldn't have been more welcoming and gave lots of local recommendations. The apartment had more than enough room for me and 3 friends and had some great views. As well as only a half hour journey to the centre of Florence. Would definitely stay again, had a great time.

Superb & quiet location

Overall we were impressed by the property. With 1 room and and a downstairs vault with fold out bed including a fold out bed in the kitchen, it had all amenities required. The location was ideal with a steep uphill climb however compensated with lovely views across the valley.

Einfach perfekt

Wir waren zu viert für eine Woche in dieser Unterkunft und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Es handelt sich hier um ein sehr altes (historisches) Gebäude, das mit viel Arbeit zu einem sehr schönen Feriendomizil umgebaut wurde. Das Appartement lässt keine Wünsche offen, es ist wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet mit einer kompletten Küche, sogar eine Waschmaschine mit Trockner, ein Staubsauger und ein Bügeleisen stehen zur Verfügung. Bei 40 Grad Aussentemperatur war für uns aber vor allem die Klimaanlage wichtig, die es in jedem (!) Schlafraum gibt. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und stellten uns gleich mehrere Telefonnummern zur Verfügung, falls wir etwas brauchten. Etwa 80m entfernt befindet sich ein Parkplatz, auf dem wir problemlos jeden Tag parken konnten. Die Lage ist ideal für Tagesausflüge zum Beispiel nach Florenz oder Pisa, wo man von hier auch sehr gut mit der Bahn hinkommt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Le logement correspond à la description. Il bénéficie de tous les équipements nécessaires à l’exclusion d’une bouilloire. Il faut tenir compte que la pièce au sous-sol est difficilement accessible (Escaliers étroits ) et humide. Pour un accès en voiture, le chemin menant au logement est très etroit et le parking le plus proche est parfois complet.

Beautiful and Relaxing

I stayed in this location 9 nights and enjoyed every minute. Everything is updated and I had all I needed to cook, the bed is very comfortable with extra pillows and linens and the shower was great. Giovanni and his wife Liuba were very responsive to communications and helped me figure out transportation and reservations. This apartment is outside of Florence and I found it nice to be away from the crowds, but a short drive or train ride to all Florence, and the surrounding area has to offer.

Excellent!

Giovanni and his family are wonderful. The apartment is located in a hill top winey countryside, lovely view, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen has a capsule espresso machine, capsules are provided. There is a car park a min away, 3 mins walk to the deli, also an excellent affordable Tuscany restaurant 5 mins away. The train is every hour to his village Lastra a Signa from Florence. Lastra a Signa train station is a 15 mins walk down the hill. Walking back up the hill takes a bit longer time. There is no taxi. From the train station easy reach to Lucca, Siena & San Gimignano. Overall is an excellant place and the host is more than 5 stars.

Amazing hosts, wonderful apartment

Cant say enough nice things about the hosts and the apartment, not only was the place immaculately clean, the host was kind enough to drive us to the train station in the morning
