When you rent our cabin, you will have the entire cabin during your stay.
You have access to the entire home. I'll send you a personalized key code one week before check-in. Access is that easy :)

The cabin is for families and friend getaways only, no parties. We are the owners, not a rental agency. We have neighbors who live next to our cabin year round and we want to respect that.

The Elderberry Retreat is located in the very popular east village and the closest you can get to the lake as far as cabin rentals!

Two-story, 1444 square feet outfitted to suit the needs of a modern vacationer. Beautiful new hardwood flooring throughout! A fully equipped kitchen provides a user-friendly space to cook a meal. A washer and dryer in the cabin are perfect for soggy ski clothes. Entertainment options like flat-screen TVs mean you can cozy up with a good movie next to the fireplace! Large deck with table and chairs in the summertime, with a good cup of joe in hand (complimentary selection of coffee and hot cocoa are offered, of course).

We have a crockpot, waffle maker, and flat griddle great for pancakes or crepes! We have a nice covered bbq area with a charcoal bbq. You will need to bring charcoal. Wifi, 2 flat-screen TVs equipped with Blu-ray players so you can access your fav programs via Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or other, DVD library, bocce ball, corn hole, foosball, and board games.

The cabin has two bedrooms, each with queen beds and dressers. The loft has two double beds and a full pull out couch. New mattresses and linens.

Linens - We DO provide clean linens
Towels - We DO provide clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Toiletries - We DO provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each bathroom.

As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with the below protection. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay. The Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $3,000 of coverage for accidental contents damage and up to $500,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible or minimum claim amount will be the responsibility of the Guest and The Cabin Host will process using the form of payment on file for Guest.

There is no public transportation in Shaver Lake. In the winter you will want a 4 wheel drive vehicle or snow chains.

Things to bring:

Warm clothes. The evenings can get cool even in the summer.

Sun screen, paper plates, napkins. We have plenty of dishes, but do not have a dishwasher. It is nice to have paper plates as an option should you not feel like cleaning up the kitchen:)

Extra newspaper for the fire.
