Recently renovated bright apartment in the centre of Cascais. Living Room and dining room with balcony. Swimming pool (not heated), & nearby gym & hammock. 10-15 minute walk to the beach, train station, shops and restaurants. Open plan kitchen with view to the sea. Private parking under ground in boxed garage. A modern bathroom and guest toilet.
The Space:
This is a bright and airy 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of Cascais with great ocean views from all rooms. It has been newly renovated and decorated. It is a 200m walk to the nearest shops, and restaurants are plentiful within 150m. The local square, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks, sunset drinks or dinner as well as a variety of boutique shops, art gallery, hairdresser, etc. is just a 5 minute walk. The private condominium has its own private swimming pool, or the beach is less than 10 minutes, walking.

The Neighborhood:
It is a 200m walk to the nearest shops, and restaurants are plentiful within 150m. The local square, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks, sunset drinks, or dinner as well as a variety of boutique shops, art gallery, hairdresser, etc. is just a 5-minute walk. The private condominium has its own private swimming pool, and the beach is less than 10 minutes, walking.
Getting Around:
A car is not needed unless you want to travel beyond Cascais, for which there is the train into Lisbon, and buses to Sintra. Several bus routes stop within a block of the apartment, and further routes stop within 200-300m. The circuit bus around Cascais stops just outside of the apartment, and the bus will drop you at the Cascais train station. The train into Lisbon runs regularly all day along the coastline, a beautiful experience. At the station you can also pick up a rental bike.

Tourist Tax
A local Tourist Tax applies to all reservations regardless of nationality. This tax is charged separately from your accommodation cost and must be paid before your check-in date.

- No pets allowed at any of our properties, regardless of size or behaviour, as per our agreements with property owners.

Cascias was a lovely beach town. Apartment was an easy 15 min walk to main part of city. Lovely shops, restaurants. A very relaxing stay and beautiful sight seeing.

The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The balcony is a little on the small side though. The apartment is located in a nice area and there are plenty of restaurant's within a 10 minute walk. We found a lovely bakery/cafe only a 2 minute walk away. There is a coastal walk only 5 minutes walkvaway which was really nice and an excellent seafood restaurant. Just to make you aware there is only air conditioning in the lounge area and not in the bedrooms . We were unaware of that until we checked in, despite specifically asking the question of a representative prior to booking the holiday. Also as previously mentioned in another review, the door knobs are very stiff and make some of the doors difficult to open difficult to open. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Cascais.

Wir waren mit allem soweit zufrieden. Jedoch ist die Wegstrecke fußläufig zum Zentrum und Hafen nicht zu unterschätzen. Gerade Anreise ist mit Koffern bergauf beschwerlich.

Wir freuen uns über Ihre Bewertung. Wir verstehen, dass das Pendeln bis zur Wohnung eine Herausforderung sein kann, besonders wenn Sie vom Flughafen aus angereist sind. Sobald Sie jedoch die Wohnung erreicht haben und sich ausruhen, ist es wirklich ein machbarer Spaziergang. Die Entfernung zwischen der Wohnung und dem Stadtzentrum und dem Hafen beträgt höchstens 10 Minuten zu Fuß, wenn Sie sich durch die kleinen Gassen und nicht durch die Hauptstraße wundern. Es gibt auch Alternativen, wenn Sie nicht den Berg hinaufgehen möchten, wie Busse, Taxis, Uber und sogar Fahrrad. Insgesamt hoffen wir, dass Sie Cascais genossen haben und wenn Sie sich für ein Wiedersehen entscheiden, würden wir uns freuen, Sie bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen (wir haben noch zentralere Apartments).
