The historic over 150 years old trulli made of natural stone gives a warm coziness. During refurbishment and modernization, consideration was given to the traditional elements of the typical Apulian trulli. Thus, the old niches, alcoves, the arches and the fireplace were preserved. The architecture of the new villa construction, the materials, as well as the windows and doors, the kitchen and the furniture were adapted to the classic character. The floor with its heat insulation and central floor heating for the cool season is a pleasant luxury.
The house has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a second small shower bathroom and the living and dining room with open kitchen.
One bedroom is the historic Trulli with its over 5 meter high dome. Here you sleep in one of the side smaller domes in a double bed on a comfortable high quality spring mattress (160cmx200cm). This allows for restful sleep, it also invites you during the day to chill out and relax under the cozy stone dome. In the opposite alcove dome you will find a coat rack and there is the wardrobe. Under the high central dome, a double sofa bed (mattress 160cmx195cm), a small table and an armchair form a small additional living area. So this bedroom has almost a suite character. The assigned shower bathroom is located next to the Trulli bedroom door in the small hallway before gliding to the kitchen with dining area and living room and allows relatively unseen to get into the shower room. It has a floor-level shower, sink and toilet and has a small skylight window and daylight. From the bedroom in the trulli you can reach the piazza in front of the authentic Trulli. The windows in the entrace door can be opened to the ground.
The second bedroom is located in the modern annex built in 2017, which was built in a classic style with a round-shaped roof and windows in natural stone arches. It is at the other end of the living room to enter. It has a double bed (180cmx210cm) with 2 separate comfortable spring mattresses with a special length of 2.10 meters. The wardrobe is room high in a wall niche with plenty of storage space. In addition, you will also find dresser and bedside tables here. The bedroom has a door to the porch and a second window so you can cross-ventilate here. From the bedroom you enter directly the larger bathroom (master bathroom) with bathtub and natural light. This has a tub shower, sink and toilet. The Air Condition is located in the master bedroom. It is positioned in such way that it cools as well the living space if the door is opended during the day.
The living and dining room forms the heart of the new villa annex. It is the communication center. It integrates the open plan kitchen and two doors to the veranda and one to the pool terrace let the inside and outside merge. In the living room the TV and stereo is located opposite a sofa in L shape. This can be folded out as a bed (160x220cm lying surface) and offers 2 more persons a sleeping possibility. Next is the dining area with a round table for 4 persons. Of course, directly in front of the living room on the shady veranda and in the outdoor area 2 more large dining tables are available since most meals are probably served outside. These outdoor tables offer space for a maximum of 6-8 people at the table each.
The kitchen is visually separated by a stone arch and a kitchen island from the dining area. It is comfortably equipped and offers a large refrigerator and freezer from Bosch, a 5-burner gas stove, oven, dishwasher, extractor hood, German filter coffee machine, Italian coffe machine. Cooking and kitchen utensils, as well as cutlery, crockery and glasses are plentiful.
A brick outdoor shower connects to the veranda towards the pool terrace. There is also hot water, so it is a pleasure to shower under the stars in the outdoor shower. This makes your holiday in Puglia a unique experience.
In summer you can enjoy the outdoor area with many terraces and a lovingly inserted, private 10-meter pool, surrounded by shady olive trees, fig trees, fruit and walnut trees as well as palms and berbered pergolas. The spacious outdoor kitchen with barbecue, gas stove and stonesink invites you to cook for family and friends in the open air. Here as well you have a shady pergola.
Your holiday with dog is possible with us. For the increased cleaning costs we charge per dog a flat fee of 39.00 Euro. The prerequisite is that your dog is well educated and housebroken. Then we will gladly welcome you in your holiday with your dog in our holiday home in Puglia.
