Overall a wonderful week in idyllic surroundings.
Bed uncomfortable and quite small for a couple (although we are used to a King Size at home.
Well equipped cottage. Log burner was absolutely lush, but necessary, as the cottage got quite cold at night, missing that the most now we are home!
Spotlessly clean on arrival you could smell the bleach!
Came home recharged and ready for the winter.
Would definitely book this cottage again in the future, beautiful area of the country and lots of hidden gems to discover.

We had to take this cottage at very short notice as the cottage we wanted was suddenly removed from the booking company. This cottage is certainly off the beaten path, however if that is what you want it is excellent. There is lots of room, everything you require is at hand including great internet access and tv/radio reception both are supplied. Wifi works well throughout the house and is fast enough to stream Netflix etc. Kitchen is great and the log burner in the living room a real boon if you’re there in the cooler months. The parking space is huge and easy to access and the large enclosed garden is great if you are taking a dog. They even supplied poo bags!!
Overall, in our opinion this was a really great place to stay.

Rosscott was exactly what we needed.
Rosscott was exactly what we needed. We came prepared for being very rural, but were reassured by the amount of information left for us about where to get anything we needed. The house was very well equipped with everything you could think of needing. The garden was fantastic for us and our dogs with beautiful views. We definitely want to return with more family members if we can persuade them to drive the 14/15 hours from the South Coast. If they won’t we will. Thank you so much for a perfect home from home that we wanted to stay in forever!

A cottage I have stayed in several times before, and you don't go back unless the place is really good. For a birdwatcher, Rosscot in the autumn is about as good as it gets: check what is happening at Nigg Bay while preparing and eating meals, plus plenty of other good sites within easy reach.

Rosscot is a lovely cottage, big kitchen but rest of house is homely and a typical country cottage.
Rosscot is a lovely cottage, big kitchen but rest of house is homely and a typical country cottage.. if you want a perfect holiday home book a new build or caravan etc,, this is a cottage that some may say needs upgraded but it’s got so much character. Lovely garden and walks from the cottage with not bad views. Area has so much to offer also..
