With two 18-hole golf courses you can improve your game and relax afterwards in the clubhouse where hot food is served (seasonal opening times). ‘Catch and Release’ fishing in the lakes is permitted on request. Adopt a horse from the on-site Redwings Horse Sanctuary or visit the Somerleyton Estate. Further afield is the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth or the cathedral city of Norwich. Both north Norfolk and Suffolk Heritage coasts deserve a day trip, as well as the quaint market towns of Beccles and Bungay.
