My wife and I spent a very enjoyable week at Weach Barton. The owners ( and their three dogs) were friendly and made us feel welcome. The Granary is small, we knew that when we booked, but we were comfortable and enjoyed the coziness, peacefulness and lovely views over the surrounding fields. The Granary is well cared for and equipped and there are numerous nice touches to make it attractive. We felt that the property could be improved by upgrading the mattress and pillows. Although in a rural location, there is lots to do in the area and access to Bideford and Instow Beach is easy. We particularly enjoyed the nearby Tapeley Park and Gardens.
Lovely little cottage. Owner’s very friendly. Lovely quiet location but convenient for visiting local places. Will definitely be staying there again.

If you’re looking for a small pretty cottage with scenic views across farmland and want peace and tranquility then Weach Barton Granary is the place you should be.
As soon as you arrive at the cottage the peace and quiet hits you; an absolute tonic for people like us that come from the city ‘burbs’.
The cottage is small, compact yet well equipped. The owners live next door and are very friendly and helpful.
There is a small garden area and washing line just outside the property, which is very handy.
There is a Tesco superstore about 2 miles away in nearby Bideford.
We had a lovely week at the cottage and would happily recommend it - perfect for a couple or a couple with one child.
The cottage was a wonderful base for us as we visited Clovelly, Instow Beach (2 miles away), Hartland Point, Appledore and Westward Ho!
The cottage is lovely and situated in a scenic area, you won’t be disappointed.

The cottage was lovely both inside and out.
The cottage was lovely both inside and out. It has everything we needed and was lovely and cosy and outside a garden, picnic table and swing perfect for our toddler. Lovely views and sunsets. Bideford was only a 5 minute drive away. Close to everything really.
The people who own the cottage were also lovely, very friendly and welcoming.
We would definitely stay there again.
