200 year old beamed, country cottage, with wood burner in inglenook fireplace and conservatory, close to Holt with shops and restaurants.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Oil central heating (£25 per week October-April poa), electricity, bed linen and towels included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Enclosed garden with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking. No smoking.. Perfect for a relaxing break whatever the season, this delightful 200 year old beamed country cottage has been beautifully renovated to offer superb accommodation. Set in lovely grounds, it adjoins the owners’ home in an excellent location from which to explore North Norfolk. The charming town of Holt, with its quaint shops and restaurants, is just 10 miles, the glorious sandy beaches of Holkham 15 miles and Wells-next-the Sea, Pensthorpe Park (of BBC Springwatch fame), Fakenham Races and a dinosaur park are all within an easy drive as are Norwich city and the Norfolk Broads. Shop and pub 1.5 miles.



Up to one dog only. This property is considered unsuitable for the less mobile. Initial fuel for the woodburner included, thereafter available locally at cost. Please do not charge electric cars at the property, please use the local garage.

We had a very pleasant stay.

We had a very pleasant stay. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The area is nice and quiet with lovely nature in the area. The cottage was warm and comfortable and had everything one would need (despite what other reviews have said). One of the best places we have stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a lot). Will definitely look to coming back in the future.

Lovely spacious cottage with a decent outside area for our dog. Perfect base for our honeymoon without having to travel any more than half an hour to get to the local attractions.The only suggestion I would make is regarding the draw full of leaflets for the local attractions and days out being included in the welcome pack as we did not come across these until the last day.Would 100% consider booking here again if we come back to the area in the future

Our family of five (two adults, two teenagers and our dog. Recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Apple Tree Cottage. Accommodation was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Only a few miles away in Reepham we were able to get supplies and enjoy a lovely meal at the Kings Head. Enjoyed trips to Cromer and Holkham (circa 40 minutes away). We had an absolutely wonderful week in this lovely cottage.

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this lovely cottage. Booking and arrangements all went smoothly. Garden was secure and just perfect for the dog. We had no noisy roads to contend with and the cottage was exceptionally well equipped for a cosy, quiet and peaceful break. You do have to travel a few miles by car to access the amenities in surrounding villages (Reepham is lovely) but this did not bother us at all. We also got to the beach, National Trust sites, antique centres etc all within a 30 minute drive. I would definitely recommend Apple Tree and we hope to return soon.

A beautiful traditional beamed cottage in rural location.

A beautiful traditional beamed cottage in rural location. Everything was spotless with a welcome cake for me and treats for my dog. Garden absolutely secure for the dog and accessed from the lovely conservatory. Even a towel to wipe dog’s feet. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for Cassie and Steve, the owners. Sunny and I were made so welcome and would most certainly return to visit. My only slight niggle was a very personal thing with the bathroom and toilet being downstairs. I have recently had knee surgeries and a nighttime visit to the bathroom was a painful journey!! No problem for able persons. One of the nicest places I have stayed at .

This is is a very nice cottage,our second visit which speaks volumes.The owners are very nice and for a very relaxing holiday this is the one.Enclosed rear garden great for Alfie nice patio and equipment. We have been to many Cottages and Apple Tree is up there with the best a must for people who enjoy comfort and a quiet relaxing time. There is plenty for everybody around the area. Well Done !

Cottage was wonderful and we couldn't have wished for better. We would have scored location higher but we had such awful weather we would have liked a more local shop otherwise couldn't fault it. Owners had thought of everything you possibly could have needed, including for the dog.
