The property was well equipped for all our needs. Carpets slightly stained but can't be helped with the beautiful lake out the back.
Double bed would benefit from a new mattress as it is quite hard.
We loved our stay and will look to return.

We stayed for three nights with our two young children. The cottage suited our needs very well and had everything we needed. A stairgate was provided which was helpful. The location was great for us as a base and the view of the lake was a nice bonus!Overall we were very happy. The cottage could have been slightly cleaner as there were cobwebs in corners, crumbs under the beds etc which our children managed to find! Also when the hot water is on, the radiators all come on downstairs. It was very hot weather when we stayed so this wasn't ideal as we didn't have the option to keep the patio door open or the lounge door open (the baby would have escaped/climbed the stairs) so that made the lounge pretty warm! However in cooler weather wouldn't be so much of a problem.

This is the second time we have stayed here, the first time there were a couple of issues, one of cleanliness and the other re hot water. I am pleased to say the cleanliness has improved. The hot water though was still an issue, great if you just want a shower or for washing up, but if you want a bath you can only get hot water if you have the tap on very low, which means it takes nearly half an hour to run. This time we also found that the radiator in the back bedroom wasn't working, neither was the light above the sink in the bathroom, making it a bit awkward to have a shave. That aside we had a very relaxing and peaceful break. The property is situated close to the coast so we were able visit the seals at Horsey which was a treat.

Pretty location, we saw quite a lot of wildlife, including a King Fisher, accommodation fine, clean and quite well equiped. Disappointed with the fishing, lake on site had been visited by otters and they had eaten the fish and the lake nearby was closed.
No WiFi and poor phone signal (ee) nice for us not so good for our teenager.
Lovely area to visit.
